House, 5 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 14-16)

A beautiful 5 bedroom lake house on Norris Lake located on a private cove just off the main channel with 600 feet of shore line and year round water. The walk to the lake is about 100 yards. We positioned the house on the property for the best view of the lake from the back porch. Like the majority of property on Lake Norris, the slope to the lake is steep. There is no shallow water around my property. The water gets quite deep quickly which means swimming off our dock is great!! The rental is ideal for a perfect family get away. At night I stand on the deck, which spans the entire back of the house and is 16 feet wide, and take in the silence. Nothing to distract you except for the sounds of nature. Norris Lake is one of the cleanest lakes in the south. Fishermen come from all over the south to find a wide range of exciting fishing available year round. We are located between mile 130 and 131 on the Lake. Closer to 130.

I own a film and video production company in Chattanooga TN. Wonderful family, 3 kids 1 grandson and a pile of others!

Why The Owner chose New Tazewell

My brother and I wanted a place that was away from the day to day grind. A place that we could come to and be alone with our families. We found it on Norris Lake

What makes this house unique

Isolation is number one. You and your guests will enjoy restful solitude. It is rare that I visit and don't see deer, turkey, racoon and one of the bald eagles that live about a mile up the lake. Find the time to visit the lake first thing in the morning. Its magical.

Notes:
There is a community boat launch where you can leave your trailer for 14 days. The property has a floating dock and I keep my boat there while staying at the house. The basement is unfinished but has pool table, foosball and air hockey. Pool table has a ping pong cover.
