Nice House/Not Private

The only complaint we had about this house was that the description of
the property is deceiving. When we arrived, looking forward to peace and
solitude, we found that the owner lives in a cabin next the pond. This was actually
closer than our neighbor at home. Not mentioned anywhere and, for us, a real negative. We go out of our way to find places that are private.
Everything else stated about the house is true. There were great views and it
was very comfortable. Nice bathtub and super hot water. The owner was "taken
aback" by our questions about the cabin. We didn't know until the second day
there whether other tenants would be there or if he lived there. According to him
no one had every "had a problem with it."
Fredericksburg is a charming, friendly town. Loved Enchanted Rock.

Your expectations on the property were obviously unrealistic. From you demanding access coded or keys over a month prior your arrival to expecting nothing else to be around. The cabin has been on the property for all the years that I have had it listed on HomeAway. You make it sound as though it had been built just prior to your arrival. I have not had a single complaint about the cabin! The cabin is over 200 feet and downhill from the house. Over 80% of the guest houses in the area either share common walls, or are within a few feet of each other.
You also mention that the description is deceiving. Please read previous reviews and also the notes left in the guest book. You make it sound as though there is noise coming from the cabin. This is not true!
Very disappointed in you, the way you treated the house, and your nasty ill meant review.
