About Brandon Maio

We are professionals who live in San Francisco. We couldn't resist the opportunity to buy a home in the heart of wine country. Our third barreling of the, on property, Syrah grapes is now resting in the barrel. We hope that you will be able to enjoy the local activities and relax in this get away.

Brandon Maio purchased this cottage in 2010

Why Brandon Maio chose Kenwood

The on property vineyard is just a taste of the local beauty. With the mountain views from the front patio and local wineries a short walk down the road, this setting is truly a wine country get away.

What makes this cottage unique

Tour the local wineries, go golfing, enjoy a hike or just relax in the Hot Tub. This home offers something for everyone.

Great cottage in Kenwood

  • 4 of 5

We really enjoyed this nice cottage in Kenwood. Perfect for two couples or if one couple is looking for a little more room to spread out. Cottage was updated in and out and has all the amenities one should need. Location of this cottage was perfect for all our needs. The owner Brandon is very helpful and quick to respond to any needs you may have, whether via e-mail or phone.

3 of the 4 of us were not able to hook up to wireless on our phones. Not a big problem as your not there to be on the internet. Bedrooms could use a drawer or armoire, somewhere to put your clothes. Hooks to hang towels would have been useful too instead of hanging them over the doors. Hot tub and grill were a big bonus! Overall our stay was great and we would stay here again or recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful Place, Perfect Location

  • 5 of 5

A gorgeous little cottage, that's ideal for 1-2 couples to savor the best of wine country. The perfect mix of luxury comfort, modern amenities, classic styling, and scenic gardens. Best of all, just steps from the bevy of Kenwood wineries.

Everything as expected and more!

  • 5 of 5

We had a wonderful stay in Sonoma. The house was exactly as pictured and described. The beds were super comfortable. We were out and about each day so we didnt get to make use of all the amenities offered, especially the hot tub. Brandon was wonderful. He and his wife were expecting their first baby at any moment but he still took the time to take my husband's calls regarding streaming movies! (Seems silly compared to what he was going through!) We would love to come back!

Our stay was great. The house was clean and bright and just the right size. Backyard landscaping was very well done. The owner, Brandon, was responsive and professional. The location is perfect for wine tasting and exploring Sonoma.

Wonderful time in a wonderful place!

  • 5 of 5

We (two couples) stayed for 4 nights on our first visit to wine country. The house is in a great location; on a quiet side street within walking distance to restaurants and wineries, and is a convenient drive to Santa Rosa, Sonoma and Napa. We had the Sonoma Wine Passports and were happy to see a lot of the vineyards on the passport were within minutes of the house.

The house is very comfortable and well equipped. It is perfect for 2 couples. Each bedroom has French doors that open to a fenced in beautifully landscaped side yard. This is where the hot tub is located along with a fountain, picnic table, hammock, grill and outdoor shower. The hot tub and outdoor shower were great! We also loved sitting on the front porch with our morning coffee and later in the evening talking. I must say we enjoyed all the house had to offer!

Brandon was very nice and sent us information about the area ahead of time and was also available when we needed him. Thanks for the bottle of wine waiting for us!

We all agreed it was a great oasis to just relax in while visiting wine country.

Kenwood Cottage

  • 5 of 5

This location was perfect for traveling to both Sonoma and Napa. The photos accurately depicted the appearance and amenities. This was a very cute cottage, very comfortable, and had a welcoming feeling. The owner was very helpful in recommending wineries and restaurants to visit and I would definitely recommend this property to others.
