Our home, a 175 year restored Waterfront antique, is beautifully situated, on a tiered landscape with stone steps and sweeping lawns that border the creek. There are many pocket swimming holes and kayaking, canoeing, and fishing are feasible from the back yard. The creek has a wonderful little island on which we regularly go looking for arrow heads, and find them.
The home comfortably sleeps five in three bedrooms; there are two queen size beds and a one smaller bedroom. The living-room has an over-sized couch and a chaise to accommodate or two more. There is a sweeping deck facing the water a formal dining-room and a library filled with books, games and movies.

The autumn is its own little jewel, heralding in the harvest festivals, as the area ripens into shades of gold and wine.
The Winter brings entirely different sort of entertainment. We are close to three major ski resorts; Jiminey Peak, Catamount and Butternut. There is also ice fishing, Winter Carnivals, Horse drawn sleds.... and then the fireplace overlooking the creek when you get back to the house.
Chatham Center, a picturesque hamlet brimming with New England charm. The home is on County Route 13, considered one of the most scenic roads in New York State. Close by are several Zagart rated resturants, cafes and shops selling wares from the south of France. The area has amazing hiking trails and an outdoor sculpture garden on nearly 100 acres.

This is our second vacation home in the area. We love the versatility of the Berkshires. The area is in full swing year round. Something for everyone regardless of age or interests.
The property is like an oasis, opening off a circular drive, through a wall of trees to a home set in a glade, on the water. It always takes my breath away.
Its a great property for quiet, peaceful or romantic getaways. We love sitting out on the deck facing the water with a glass of wine and some music in the background.
Its also an awesome home for entertaining. We canoe in the backyard and have had water gun fights with two boats. We love having parties here and have a revolving door of company when we're in residence.
