Stewart's point is a unique property located in the hills of Kanab Utah. With mesa views at the front of the house, and backyard view of the Red rock cliffs.
Kanab is 80 miles from the north Rim of the Grand Canyon and Bryce Canyon national parks. It is 40 miles from Zion National Park.
This is a large bi-level house, over 2,400 sq feet. The property is 1.4 acres, with over an acre between the neighbors on both sides. Very quiet.
The property has just added a 160 sq foot deck off the master bedroom with stairs into the backyard patio (see below). This has views of the Powell abutment of the grand canyon and the entire valley of Kanab. Check out the picture!!!
1) On the top floor - a spacious Master in excess of 600 square feet, with a King Bed , DirectTV and a separate Conversation area with a pull out leather futon.
Attached to the master is a completely new master bath with a spacious shower, dual sinks and a brand new Jacuzzi jet sunken tub which overlooks southern Utah. There is also plenty of room to set up the portable crib / air mattress(es) in the master suite.
The top level also includes a large dining room/living room, with plasma TV, DirectTV and DVD player with DVR. This room has large picture windows with canyon and mesa views. A fully stocked Kitchen with breakfast counter and bar stools adjoin the dining room. There is a second full bath on the top level
From the top level you can walk two steps down to the fenced backyard and patio with BBQ.
2) Downstairs: There are two bedrooms and a third full bath.
Downstairs bedroom number 1 : This room has cedar paneling and contains a queen bed and sleeper sofa and also has a TV/DirectV/DVD player. (see 'downstairs bedroom number 1' photos)
There is a second bedroom , with another queen bed, which includes a laundry area . The laundry room is enclosed by floor to ceiling curtains to provide a roomier and cozier feel to the space., and there is a privacy screen between the two bedrooms to provide privacy between the rooms. Please note: The two bed rooms do adjoin - you enter and leave the downstairs bedroom #1 through bedroom number 2. .
The kitchen is fully furnished, from place mats to a coffee maker and coffee supplies, to a high chair for those who are toting little ones. An iPod stereo in the kitchen/living room. Family friendly movies (and a few classics) make up the DVD library and games abound for the whole family to enjoy.
To me, good night's rest is a high priority while on vacation. All mattresses are high quality and NEW - pillow top Serta Mattresses. All of the towels and linens are high quality.
