Beaver Creek--for the experience of a lifetime!! We have been skiing for over 30 years and have been to many resorts all over Colorado, including Snow Mass and Vail before we decided to buy our place , E-3, in The Meadows. Over the years, when the other resorts did not have snow, Beaver Creek always did. Our place is on the highest part of the mountain, and we always have the Champagne snow. Airport and road accessibility is also an important factor; and as long as we fly into Eagle/Vail or Grand Junction, we can drive in, because there are no passes to cross.
The days that we have gone to Vail, my husband says, to quote Paul Newman: "Why go out for hamburger, when you have steak at home?"
The set up of the house is perfect for a large family, such as ours. The different levels ensure privacy and lack of noise. We also have plenty of space for visitors, with the media room in the basement, which has a pull-out sofa as well as another one in the main living area. Each bedroom has its own bath, and there is another shower and half bath.
This year, the townhouse next door, E-4 came up for sale. We bought it immediately because our family is growing, with grandchildren. We have connected the two, so if you need more space, inquire about E-4, as well.
You better take advantage soon, because when my youngest is out of high school, I may just move up there full time, to continue our experience of a lifetime. We'll have everything set out for you--a book full of local insights and activities. So, come enjoy our warm, cozy ski house, or as my youngest calls it: our snow house.

We, Bill and Judy, have been married for 32 years. We have 3 children and 2 grandchildren. We started skiing together when we were dating. All of our children have been skiing since they were able to stand on skis. Our daughter is a ski instructor and an early childhood educator. Bill is an attorney and I am an artist. We love the Beaver Creek community and all of the outdoor adventures available in Colorado, including skiing and golf.
We bought our home in The Meadows because it is the perfect location, and we love the architecture and the fact that the snow is always wonderful.
We have a great deck that overlooks the mountain, a newly remodeled kitchen and great 300 year old hardwood floors from Chinese temples. We love to pick up new decorative items and artworks every time we visit.
