Owners Kathy and Bud Smallwood and Jane and Keith Bolles reside in Connecticut and have been enjoying Rincon for over 20 years. Kathy and Bud are in the building business and built the house themselves. Importing stone from around the world to create this luxury beachfront home. Jane and Keith are in the home furnishings business and have helped to furnish and decorate the 2 villas.

Paradise found again !!!!

Sorry it took so long to write a review but I'm just getting over the depression of being back to the grind. This was our second trip to Pelican Pass and this time was even better. The weather was great ,the accommodations were great. Except this time we had the pleasure of being there with Keith & Jane. Great people!! Even though they're red sox fans. LOL. But you overcome those rivalries in paradise. Thanks again for the hospitality ,They had us over for a bbq and it was great, so were the rum runners Keith. Bbq +Rumrunners + beach & sun = :) All I can say is this place is great. I don't want to say to much because to many people are booking stays and I wont be able to get the dates we want. That's what happens when the secret gets out. If you like peace & tranquility this is the place. Looking to go back in early November. If you guys are going back let me know we'll gladly go when you guys are going. We had a great time, Thanks Again. You bring the drinks we'll bring the maracas & music. Maybe Hector can get that boat in the water to do some real fishing. We're going to try and visit you up north one of these days. We can't say enough what a pleasure it was to stay in Pelican Pass for a week, and with Keith and Jane as neighbors in Villa 2 made it even better.

Amazing Beach and Ocean

The beach and water in front of this home is the best in Rincon for relaxing, swimming and snorkeling. No crowds, calm water and a nice small reef with lots of fish. Our favorite spot in the house is the amazing huge private terrace area with lots of comfortable furniture to enjoy the beautiful beach and ocean that are just a step out the gate. The house is very roomy and has everything you need to enjoy an amazing vacation.

Gladys the onsite manager is great and will attend to any needs promptly and Kathy the owner was great to work with. We hope to be back soon!

Bliss!

The four of us (2 couples) stayed here for ten wonderful days. We've gone on several vacations with an ocean view, but none where we walked out our backdoor and onto the beach. I loved getting up in the morning with the only sound being the roar of the ocean, sitting on the private patio, and watching the waves while sipping my tea. Later in the afternoon, if the sun became a little too strong, palm trees provided a nice shady area.

There was more than enough room for the four of us and the property exceeded our expectations. The groundskeepers were very helpful and the property was just as advertised. It was a great break from the cold and snow of Ohio!

My wife and I and 3 year old just returned from pelican pass about a week and half ago.We stayed at the villa for 5 days and must say it was everything we thought it would be. Except one thing the pictures do not do this place justice.My wife and I have been going to rincon for about ten years now and stayed in several different places. We walked past pelican pass all the time and said that is a beautiful home, and finally decided to stay there this time. Well I can tell you that this is our go to place in rincon from now on. The house is large, clean, well maintained, and nicely furnished.Above all location location location. Family and friends that came to visit while we were there told us it feels like your home. The grounds are gated and private.I would just like to say thank you to kathy and bud for having a place like this to rent.We had the opportunity to meet bud as we were leaving and if we are ever there at the same time being that it is I & II now ,a round of golf and some medalla”s on me. Gladys and Hector the grounds keepers were also very nice and accomodating. Toes in the water @%s in the sand. (Zac Brown Band)

AMAZING!!!!!

I was unsure about renting a private home for the first time, but this house has been the BEST rental I have ever chosen even after staying in several luxuries 5 star hotels around the US and the Caribbean. The property is exactly as the pictures (including the pelicans), but the best part is that the property is larger in person. The property is located on a quite neighborhood, it’s well maintained, and we felt safe. We did groceries at a nearby grocery store (5 minutes away) and cooked breakfast and dinner in the house. The beach is extremely calm and you can snorkel just a few feet away from shore with tropical fishes all around you. I took surfing lessons at an excellent shop located just 15 minutes away. The property is so quiet and peaceful that at night while in bed with the windows close and A/C running, you can hear the soothing sound of the small wave’s right outside your bedroom. The view is amazing and the beach is practically all yours during the morning hours and late evening hours. I was born in Puerto Rico and I try to go back ones a year to visit family. After this great experience, I plan to rent this property from now on every time I go back to Puerto Rico!!!!
