Welcome to 'Cocktail Cove' on Logan Martin Lake. This all-cedar cabin is perfect for your fishing get-a-way. I actually caught a 14-lb catfish off my dock in August of 2013.
Please keep in mind though, this is a fishing cabin. Don't let the big screen TV, wifi access, or gazebo fool you...it's still a fishing cabin. There maybe a few holes in the screen door, a chipped tile or two on the countertops, and a musty smell from time to time, but I know about all these things. It's just the beauty of owning a place on the lake (I work for a Certified Mold Remediation company, so I know there is NO mold in my home.). This is not the type house to have a wedding reception or a 'just-us-girls' weekend getaway. This is a 'bring a few steaks, call the guys, we're going fishing for the weekend' place.
If you're into golf, we've got Alpine Bay just a few miles down the road. It's not a great course anymore, but it's definitely not the worst I've ever played either.
I added the 50'x8' boardwalk and boat dock back in 2007 along with the almost 1500 square feet of decks surrounding the house, too. There's not a lot of furniture to fill up all the decks, but there's enough for a few people to enjoy a weekend full of sunsets and cold beers.
We do have a Subdivision Boat Launch and park just a few lots down from the cabin. You're more than welcome to launch your boat from there and leave your trailer in the park, so you can have use of your boat and your vehicle during your entire stay. Don't forget to take the boat out at night, too. That's the best time to enjoy the 'slick-as-glass' riding.
I hope you've enjoyed my honesty with this listing. There's not a large management company running the show here. It's just me, and I happen to own a lakehouse. Don't get me wrong, we love staying there when we can. My girlfriend and her 8-year old son absolutely LOVE the place. I just felt I needed to revamp this site to be a little more realistic with your expectations. I've had a few people over the years that obviously thought they were renting a $400/night bed and breakfast before they got to my cabin...They quickly realized, they weren't.
You'll have fun and relax there. That's the biggest reason we all get away.
Race Week rentals are for a 7-night minimum only. A $500 deposit (credit card, OK) will be required during each race week. (Race week rates are listed below)

I am a traveler, too, so I've tried to equip the lakehouse with everything you might need. For instance, I don't drink coffee, but I have a coffee pot there. Just bring your boat, clothes, and food. You'll have a good time.
I grew up not too far from where the lakehouse is located, and I always wanted a lake place. I had to get a little older to afford it, but my dream finally came true in 2006. Renting it on occasion, throughout the year just helps me with the upkeep and some of the bills. For that, I must say...Thank you.
I actually prefer staying at the lake during the winter. It's so quiet and peaceful, that a fire, a good book, and the greatest girl in the world are all I need to have a very relaxing weekend.
For the NASCAR fans, the lakehouse is located about 10 miles or so from the Talladega track and Nascar Museum. If you're not into fast cars, then you'll be able see a few fast boats on Logan Martin Lake during the summer months. For those of us into the slower things in life, you'll appreciate the winter months inside the Lakehouse surrounded by a nice warm fire, a good book, and the slow meandering feeling of absolutely NOTHING to do the next day...In case you can't tell, I love spending winter weekends at the lake.
