Photos and Description of the Rehoboth Beach vacation house rental
House, 3 Bedrooms, 1.5+ Baths, (Sleeps maximum of 6)

Three bedroom, 1.5 bathroom beach duplex with bright and airy great room overlooking the treetops. This 2nd floor, walk-up unit is entirely seperate from the owners' two-bedroom unit below.

The south end of the boardwalk and beach are about 4 1/2 blocks away. Best of all, no need to cross Route 1 to get to the beach.

If you like Dwell Magazine (or just have an aversion to doilies and dried flower decor) this might be your kind of place. Great light, gentle cross breezes and simple, efficient design set it apart from other beach rentals.

Decks on two levels enlarge the living space. First deck at ground level is perfect for private sunbathing and a great 'drop zone' for beach chairs, umbrellas and towels after a big day at the beach. The upper screened deck is perfect for post-beach cocktails and family style dinner.

Finally.....there's the outdoor shower. Down a boarded path, the shower is tucked away at the back of the property. It's private, yet open, with a big 'rain' shower head and bench. You'll miss it once you've returned home.

A note about email inquiries: Please don't be troubled if my response isn't immediate. I often don't get an opportunity to deal with rental questions until evening hours.

Also, please check the availability calendar. I keep it up to date and if the week is blocked out it means a) the unit is already booked by family or friends, or b) I've already cashed a check from someone who is looking foward to a beach week and I don't have any flexibility for those dates.

About The Owner

This property is primarily a weekend getaway for two Washingtonians. We keep the downstairs unit exclusively for ourselves and use the upstairs as a rental and accommodations for visiting family and friends.

The Owner purchased this house in 2007
Why The Owner chose Rehoboth Beach

The beach...of course. And lots of good dining and sport activities. There's also a fantastic 7- mile (mostly shaded) bike trail to Lewes where they have a great farmers market on Saturdays during the Summer. Bring your bike or rent one.

What makes this house unique

Home in DC is a pretty traditional federal-style structure. 'Home' in Rehoboth is entirely different with bigger windows and modern lines. It definitely reinforces the notion that I've shifted gears.

Had the best beach week at the Treehouse.

My family (4 people total) and I stayed here for the week before Memorial Day and loved it. The house is clean, bright and airy with a wall of windows in the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is spacious enough that we could be in it cooking together and we all could sit around the kitchen island or at the picnic table on the screened-in porch to eat meals. The house also is equipped with everything you would need for a week at the beach - in addition to the outdoor shower, we made use of the bikes, kites, beach chairs and bocce set that were all in the utility closet. It's a short walk to the beach and, from there, down the Boardwalk and on to the "main drag" for shops and restaurants. Everything was very much "as advertised" - or better!
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

We had a great time...thoroughly enjoyed your place!

Getting off the plane Friday I literally felt like I was waking up from a dream....which was a first time experience for me, and very surprising, as I have done a fair amount of traveling...
We go east every summer, and we're already looking forward to next year....We usually stay a week on the South Jersey shore (my family is there), and one in RB, but we're considering spending both weeks in RB next year! We'll see!

Again, we completely enjoyed your place, and were very comfortable there! Thank you!

Rendezvoused with my best friend from the West Coast here for a week. The space was exactly as described and more. Quiet space close to the south end of the beach. Rent some bikes and you'll be golden for your stay (it was great to leave the car in the parking spot all week). The entire space was clean and open, yet comforting. Kitchen has all the basics you'll need. A great place to come home to after a long day at the beach, and large enough to camp out in on rainy days (great space to read on the screened porch). Will definitely be back for another stay.

Perfect place to stay in Rehoboth Beach!

If you are looking to relax and have one of the best vacations of your life this is the place to stay!!! The deck outside is great so you can grill before you head into town. There is a screened in porch so you can hang out and eat dinner outside. Wonderful outside shower! Super private and you really do feel like you are staying in a treehouse. The owners are awesome and they really make you feel like you are a part of their family. I can go on and on! We travel to Rehoboth a lot and this is the best place by far we have stayed at!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, People with Disabilities, Romantic Getaway
