Hale House Rental Photos and Description
House, 3 Bedrooms, 2.5 Baths, (Sleeps 8-10)
The 'Loon Lake Hideaway' is located at the end of a winding road that runs thru the woods. It’s almost hard to find, which is why we call it 'The Hideaway'.
If you are looking for a tranquil lakefront location to rest, relax, and rejuvenate with your family, this is it!
This spacious, yet cozy, log sided home was built in 2003 and is comfortably appointed. The waterside of the home features a covered veranda that runs the length of the home and provides the perfect spot for reading books, playing cards, outdoor dining, or just enjoying nature. The lawn is level to the lake (no bluff or stairs to climb) with plenty of room for horseshoes or outdoor games. There is a beach area and fire pit at waters edge.
Inside, the large kitchen has lots of storage and counter top space for meal preparation. The kitchen is open to the family room and overlooks Loon Lake. The upper floor includes two large bedrooms and a full bathroom. One of the upstairs bedrooms features a king bed plus a double bed. On the main floor is a master suite with private full bath. All three bedrooms are very spacious and include walk-in closets. For total comfort we have a whole house attic fan to cool the home on those hot summer nights.
Loon Lake is an all sports lake and is great for fishing, water skiing, or tubing. The sand bar at North end of lake is a great swimming spot for small children. For additional fun on the water, we have two kayaks for guests to use, plus a 24 ft pontoon boat available to rent by the week. We highly recommend guests consider renting the pontoon boat to fully enjoy a wonderful time on the lake. The water is only 3 to 4 feet deep at the end of dock and is perfect for fishing. Best swimming is beyond the dock.

About David Street
I built this home in 2003 while residing and working in the area. Since then I have been transferred to a new location although my family and I make time to spend as much time as we can at our lake house on Loon Lake. 2012 will be our second season renting home. Summer of 2011 we were completely booked. We hope you enjoy as much as we do.
