Dragonline Studios is a completely unique rental property, not only for Jamestown, but in all of Rhode Island. Currently we are renting mainly for weddings and special events. The site consists of a large, loft like studio building and several outbuildings. All afford views of Narragansett Bay from a promontory that juts out into the bay directly across from Newport and Castle Hill. As such, the top floor loft affords an unobstructed view from the Newport Bridge all the way across Aquidneck Island beyond Castle Hill to Block Island, Point Judith and Beavertail. This room is ideal for sunset dinners, cocktail parties, photo shoots and weddings. Adequate parking is next door in Ft. Wetherill State Park. A large lawn easily provides room for a tent and other facilities.
The rental also includes access to a private sand beach, a rocky cove and excellent seasonal fishing locations along the rocky shoreline, and significant privacy. Families seeking summer rental accommodations have options: a cabin, hut, and two lofts.
Multi media artist, writer. Have lived on this property off and on my whole life.
Extraordinary beauty and solitude. Large indoor open loft spaces and small intimate sleeping quarters. Mooring available. Plentiful parking near by.
Dragonline provides an extraordinary sense of contact with the sea, the air, the sky and the earth. It is surrounded by Nature in every sense. As such, the property is ideally suited for weddings of 50 to 150 people who want privacy with the ocean in the foreground. There is plenty of room for a tent, toilets, caterers plus two floors of indoor dining or simple relaxation. It has been an ideal photo shoot location for clients J. Jill, Abercrombie, and Ralph Lauren.
Other Activities: Kayaking, Boating, Health/Beauty Spa, Shopping
