Guestbook comments from the owner
Booking this property was easy and ashley, the property manager, was so helpful. He emailed us maps, suggestions for transportation, answered all our questions, and provided a wonderful guidebook that he assembled for guest use while at the house. The property is private, right on the lake, and has spectacular views. There were 8 of us staying here and we were very comfortable. We arrived at the start of summer, flowers were blooming, and all had our coffee on the patio overlooking the lake each morning. The house comes with everything we needed, including a washing machine. This is a gem of a house with local architectural features . Each person in our group said it was the best vacation they had been on. The Bariloche area is beautiful and it was so nice to return to this lovely home after a day of exploring.
I settled in Bariloche with my Argentine partner in 2008, after giving up a career in commercial management back in the UK. Bariloche has enormous year-round appeal. Whether it's skiing, horse-riding, mountain-biking, kayaking, or just heading out for a walk, enjoying the local flora and fauna, and taking in the ever-changing lake and mountain views, there is always plenty to do. I have traveled extensively over the years, in Patagonia and elsewhere, and look forward to ensuring you have a pleasant stay and helping you get the most out of your visit. I'll be doing your check-in myself, and will also be on hand should you require any assistance with pre-departure trip planning. A suite of information, books, maps and a detailed guide to Bariloche can be found within each property. The guide contains a wealth of inside information and suggestions on things to see and do both within Bariloche and further afield. A soft copy can be emailed to prospective guests on request.
