family trip

  • 5 of 5

I stayed in this very comfortable apartment with my two adult daughters.

I can't fault this apartment which was located in a mid-central part of New York.

The weather was extremely cold and one day we had snow. The master bedroom struggled to cope with the cold temperature and the heating system wasn't working as it should. We mentioned this to the management so hopefully this has been fixed. The views out over New York are stunning and we loved how the Empire State Building was lit up with a different colour each night.

The location was perfect for us. We mostly took taxis as it was too cold to be trudging the streets. Taxi cabs everywhere so never a problem to hail one.

We are particularly fussy coffee drinkers and our favourite morning coffee spot was Eataly which was a 5 minute walk from the Apartment. Eataly is a must visit and we had dinner there one night. They have seven different restaurants in the building and fantastic produce to buy.

Breakfast at the Ace Hotel was great as was coffee at Little Collins (on Collin Street)

We visited the Moma and Frick. Walked across Central Park in the snow and took in a show on Broadway. A living memory for us all.

Thanks owners for helping make our once in a lifetime trip to NY perfect.

Such a great apartment. We had the most wonderful stay, with beautiful views including the Empire State building. The location was great, with easy walks to subway, Times Square, Chelsea Market, High line. Great grocery shopping and places to eat right in the neighborhood. We loved being able to have coffee and breakfast in our elegant apartment.sometimes it was hard to leave we were so comfortable. The doormen were always friendly and helpful getting us a cab. This is a gem in Manhattan, I would stay here again. Thank you Craig and Eric for you helpful advise. Would stay here again!

Wonderful stay!

  • 5 of 5

This centrally located apartment was a lovely place to stay in NYC! The pictures and the descriptions barely do the place justice. It is a clean, well-appointed place that we hope to visit again. The corner windows had a stunning view of the Empire State Building. Despite a welcoming table for 6 and a lovely sitting area, we drifted to the window for each meal just to soak in the view of this NYC landmark so close to our residence there. The apt itself was exceptionally well-appointed. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms had every thing a traveler could need or want! The beds (1 King, 1 Queen) were exquisitely comfortable. The linens and towels were nice quality. The kitchen stocked everything we needed for quick breakfasts and fun appetizer dinners. We shopped at Trader Joes, Fairway, and Eatily -- all of which were easy walks from the apartment. We love walking in NYC and were easily able to walk to the Theater District. We did cab it to Central Park & the museums. The subway seemed easily accessible, too, but we just did not use it. Communication with the owners was effortless -- we received prompt, thorough, helpful responses to every question we asked. The only glitch was a fairly un-welcoming doorman on our first day. Other than that, we absolutely loved this property! It is just a gem in the heart of Manhattan and we feel very fortunate that we were able to stay here!

Flying high in New York

We had a most wonderful stay at this beautiful apartment. We really appreciated the care and elegance of the interior design. And we sat in awe each night at the view from the corner window, with the Empire State Building putting on its amazing colored light show.

Well appointed apartment

  • 4 of 5

The apartment is as advertised and it was great to come home, after a day sightseeing, to this cosy quiet retreat, with windows that opened for fresh air. The kitchen had sufficient equipment to cook well, although a few serving dishes would have been welcome. We found all correspondence with the owners to be excellent and the view across to the Empire State Building and up 6th Ave was fascinating at all times of the day and night. We slept well in very comfortable beds on good linen.Bathrooms could do with fresh caulking and a general spruce up and paintwork at lower levels in the apartment was scuffed due to thoughtless travellers dragging their bags against the walls. Subway on 6th Ave was just 4 blocks away and on 7th Ave just one block away. We were lucky to meet Gustavo, the contact person on arrival, as our booking was not recorded with the Concierge, and he gave us great service. He handled all issues we had professionally and quickly and he was a font of information regarding the subways and procedures in the in-house laundry. Gym was also good. Overall we had a great stay in this centrally located apartment to all the sites in NYC

Owner's Response: Guest comments and suggestions are crucial to maintaining a level of excellence that we have become know for in all of our Chelsea apartments. I have taken this advise and added/corrected the following things: serving dishes have been purchased, both bathrooms have been re-caulked, paint was touched up on walls with marks from luggage, the new Concierge has been instructed on guest reservations and check-in procedures.

Awesome - The only way to stay in New York

  • 5 of 5

We have visited New York a few times before, but always in hotels. Never again. This apartment was so nice, so convenient, and in such a good location that hotels just won't cut it anymore.

First, location. We were within easy walking distance of any subway line. Nice restaurants were everywhere. Cabs were easy to catch 50 feet from the building entrance. And groceries were literally right across the street.

Next, the apartment. The building is quiet. The apartment is spacious and clean. Beds and sofa bed are very comfortable. The view was awesome! We looked right at the Empire State Building. We literally spent hours just relaxing and looking out the window.

Last, the booking process was easy, and the person taking care of the apartment visited us right away and left a number if we had issues. Great service.

We will be back. Thanks!
