We are frequent users of VRBO and it has allowed us to explore both domestic and international destinations. We love San Francisco and want to share it with fellow travelers. We live upstairs and are a very active family that enjoys all the SF and our neighborhood has to offer. We have a lot of suggestions for places to dine in SF and the neighboring towns. Triathlete with a lot of suggestions on the best places to train in the area. Also, a great location for those who want to compete in any of the marathons or triathlons in the city.
We love San Francisco and wanted to raise our family here.
Our neighborhood is a great place to enjoy San Francisco like a local. There are wonderful parks, restaurants and museums within walking distance
I have certainly enjoyed my stay at "the cottage"
It is a wonderful alternative to a hotel room-very warm and homey. Thank you again.
Beautiful apartment with everything fresh and and new. Will stay here again, the outdoor space was a nice bonus.
San Francisco is a wonderful place to visit and this apartment was perfect for us. Park, bridge, coastal trail, beach, you can have access to everything, even downtown is not that far. A lot of restaurants in the neighborhood too. Thank you
The apartment was clean and well situated. We enjoyed being in a suburb rather than in central San Francisco, we bussed to places every day and got to experience the city more. It was a safe area with lots of good restaurants, good pizza and Chinese especially. We also ate in when we were too exhausted to go out after busy days sightseeing. Found a Smart & Final market 2.5 blocks away which was good. Stayed 5 nights and would recommend.
The garden apartment was a great place for us to stay. It was quaint, clean and was perfect just for the two of us. It was also just six short walking blocks from my friends. There were several great places to eat in the area if you didn't feel like cooking. We did not have a car this time but found the bus routes easy to navigate. My only regret is that our schedules never worked out to actually meet Liz and her family. Oh well, maybe next time. Will check for availability for our next visit to the city.
What a wonderful place to stay while in SF! Whether you are staying for a few days or a few weeks, this apartment will accommodate all of your needs. The apartment in itself is very clean and well kept. It is much larger than what you would expect a studio to be, we fit very comfortably at all times. The backyard garden is quiet and there are beautiful plants lining the fence, it feels like you have left the city. This was our first time in SF and we were more than pleased with the location of the apartment. It was a great location for morning runs through the park. It is a quick 2 mile jog to Baker Beach which was a very enjoyable way to start the day. Both Ashley's Cafe and Eats were great places to eat breakfast, both within walking distance. For lunch and dinner, there are more options than you could possibly need! If you are wanting to visit Fisherman's Wharf or any of the Pier's you can easily get there through public transportation or the Uber smartphone application. Those "touristy locations" were a bit too busy for our liking so we definitely enjoyed being located in the western half of the city, close to the beaches and running trails. All in all it was an excellent stay and if we make a trip back to SF this is where we'll be staying!
