We were blessed to be able to stay in this home for 3 weeks while waiting for our new home. The home is located so close to everything and the neighborhood is part of the historical side of Georgetown. The property owner was great to work with.
My family and I highly recommend this family and pet friendly home to anyone interested in either a weekend getaway in historic part of Georgetown or a relocation option. The owners are very accommodating and care about the tenant experience. The fenced in yard with playset was ideal for my children and pets too. The home was well furnished and kitchen appliances and necessities well stocked.
I put my visiting family up for a weekend. All were impressed and very comfortable. It was great they were walking distance to the square where the event was being held.
Came back to Georgetown for a Southwestern University reunion and stayed at the house with 6 total people and a dog. House was perfect. Great yard with patio in the back, great "Man Cave" in the garage w/dart board and mini foosball table. House was very tastefully decorated and has everything anyone could need from the kitchen to the bathroom to the bedroom. Very comfy beds and furniture in the living room, so comfortable we didn't want to leave when check-out came around, so I emailed the owner, and she said it would be fine to just hang out for a while and finish watching the football games. Dealing with the owner was a total pleasure, and she was completely accommodating throughout the whole process. I hope the house is available whenever I'm back in town! My fiancé just moved to Texas from NYC, and doesn't always like what us texans have to offer, but she loved the house. That is pretty much the biggest endorsement I can give for the house! It was worth every penny.
