We currently reside in Texas, but I spent some of my childhood in the mountain area of North Georgia. Some of my ancestors were, in fact, original developers in the Cades Cove Area. I love to visit here, and feel all the stress melt away as I near the Smoky Mountain area. I am a Texas attorney, and my husband Dane works as a sales engineer selling to local refineries and the chemical industry. We live in a rural area, garden, and have farm animals. But, our favorite thing to do is to head to the gorgeous Smoky Mountains.

Jamie Roth purchased this cabin in 2012

I think most visitors agree there is something magical, mystical, even addictive to visiting these mountains. Not only are there many activities, but the serenity of the mountains themselves gives you a unique sense of peace and relaxation. Of the many places we have been fortunate enough to travel, this is the only place where I wanted to purchase a vacation home.

Bella is both stunning and unique. It is very rare to find a vacation rental in this area on 7 acres, upscale amenities, yet very convenient to all attractions. From the endless views, to the almost endless decking, loaded with high end electronics, super gourmet kitchen, roomy closets, it is obvious that it was designed with all of the comfort and convenience of a permanent residence.

This cabin is absolutely amazing! The views were spectacular and location was perfect. The rooms were nice and well furnished and had plenty of activities for my 3 young children. The view of Pigeon Forge was breathtaking. The cabin was exactly as described and we were not disappointed. I will be booking this same cabin again!
Owner's Response: We are so happy you enjoyed your stay. We get great feedback on the views, and the views of the nightly fireworks. You were a joy to work with, and we look forward to your return visit. Thank you.

Awesome cabin & location...we'll be back

Awesome cabin & location...we'll be back

Our family of 9 absolutely loved everything about the cabin. It more than met our expectations. Our group included kids, parents, and grand parents...all had a great stay there. The cabin was very clean, VERY nicely furnished, and in a great location with a phenomenal view. We have absolutely no complaints. The adults enjoyed the view from inside & outside the cabin. Our kids especially loved the theater room, where we enjoyed the Home Alone movies, and of course the catwalk overlooking the first floor.

We cooked meals on two of the nights we stayed, and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. There were even two coffee pots for our half caf/half decaf party.

Speedy wifi and nice televisions in every room.

The location was so easy to get to all of the activities that we wanted to do in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the National Park.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to all friends and family. It was our first family trip to Gatlinburg, but we'll definitely be back, and the home we stayed in was a huge part of that great experience. Thanks!
Owner's Response: Thank you so much for taking the time to do this review. We are so happy you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to your return visit!

This Place is Fantastic!

This place is fantastic.

Before we arrived Jamie called to state that there might be an issue with the air conditioning and provided instructions on what to do if there was. There wasn't a problem, but the fact that she called before we arrived to warn of a possible problem speaks highly of the kind of person she is and the type of service that she is trying to provide. Excellent!

Beyond that, the cabin is huge and clean. There were 9 of us. 5 adult and 4 kids. There was plenty of room for us to sleep and play. The rooms were spacious and clean. Plenty of TV's (if you need them) and the theater room was great for the kids during down time.

The kitchen is big with a stove big enough to cook dinner for all. Plenty of pots, pans and utensils and a dishwasher! We went to the grocery store the first night and stocked up on food. I'm sure that this was cheaper than eating out every night.

There are decks on all levels of the cabin and eating breakfast on the top deck in the morning overlooking the mountains was great.

The hot tub got plenty of use and provided no issues.

The view is fantastic. There are no cabins blocking your view of the mountain and you can see downtown Pigeon Forge. They did fireworks almost every night and it was cool to see it from the deck.

The roads to get to the cabin are an adventure in and of themselves. A very interesting drive for sure!

There is plenty to do in and around Gatlinburg. This was our first time there and I'm glad that we rented a cabin instead of going to a hotel. The main roads are very pack with lots of traffic and people. This was out of the way and quiet.

I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone thinking of renting a cabin or hotel. Totally worth every penny spent.

Also, watch out for the bears. We has some walking around the cabin the first night we were there! Not aggressive, but I wouldn't recommend trying to pet one.
Owner's Response: I am so happy you enjoyed your stay, and so pleased that you chose our cabin for your first visit to Gatlinburg. Feedback from our seasoned visitors is that the one mile of paved roads, leading to the cabin is a very easy in and out, and so close to either Gatlinburg or Pigeon Forge. But, I guess for a first time visitor to the area, the occasional winding of mountain roads are indeed "adventurous." We found you to be very kind and thoughtful, and were honored to have you and your family stay at our Bella. We hope to see you again!!

Spectacular vacation cabin

We stayed at the Bella Vista for nine days, and it was by far the best place our family has ever stayed. We enjoy the mountains and nature, and this cabin provided sumptuous views of the mountains while being secluded by dense forest.
From the moment we got to this cabin, every aspect of our visit was far beyond our expectations. This cabin is like living in one of the places you only get to see in the cover stories of architectural and luxury living magazines.
The kitchen is a cook's dream and well laid out for entertaining. The induction cooking range with five burners and a motorized retractable cooking vent was a high-tech touch that further made us realize this cabin is a place for entertaining and built for showing the latest developments of living comforts. The large double oven makes it easy to cook for large groups.
The home theatre with high definition projector and movie theatre style seating provided a pleasing way to top off each great day with a DVD movie each evening. We truly had our own private movie theatre to catch up on screening films we had missed watching when they were in new release in theaters.
If you didn't want to watch a movie in the home theatre with everybody else, but still wanted to watch something on a big screen, the living room and the billiards room both have large flat screen TVs with satellite, Netflix, and DVD ability.
The main living area is quite a comfortable, soothing site with a red leather sectional sofa set against a two story wall of windows revealing a panoramic view of the Smoky Mountains while a catwalk style bridge hangs suspended up above the sofa and crosses the length of the living room leading to an intimate patio.
All four of the bed rooms have king size beds and flat screen TV's with satellite channels, netflix, a DVD player, and a reclining sofa chair which makes every room a master suite in itself.
The master bedroom on the main level has its own bathroom with an old fashioned, free-standing copper tub that is so polished that it looks like gold. The french doors to the patio of this main level bedroom lead you straight to a hot tub enclosed within a screened porch.
When our visit was done, it was hard to leave--this is the type of place you wished you lived--waking up every morning and turning in every night was like living in a dream--we will definitely come back and stay again.
Owner's Response: We are so happy you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to your return. Thank you!!
