Now renting for 2013! Available starting Mid May. Lake Michigan beach two minutes from the front door, out the back door, large deck over looking Bar Lake with dock, fishing boat and bonfire pit. Quiet three bedroom home is tucked on the corner of a small street and Lake Shore Drive which gives access to both lakes. Water view from every room. Gas grill on deck and seating for 8 overlooks Bar Lake. Bar Lake connects directly to Lake Michigan via small steam under Lake Shore Drive. Full kitchen, dishwasher, stove, microwave. Two queen rooms and a bunk room, futon in living room. Cable and wireless internet access. Laundry room with washer and dryer. 5 minutes to Manistee Riverwalk shops and restaurants. 5 minutes to the casino. 15 to Portage Lake Onekama, 45 to Traverse/Sleeping Bear. Why Lisa Armstrong chose Manistee

I bought this property because it is right across the street from Lake Michigan, where I can view fabulous sunsets, but also sit on the back deck and enjoy a glass of wine looking out at peacefull Bar Lake. The house has easy access to everything, town, casino, dunes. It's location is great for running the beach, or biking and running Lake Shore Drive. It is also located next to a bird sancturary, with a nice hiking trail.
