Looking to relax in luxurious surroundings? Casa D'Emma is a place where you can get away from it all. Our home is professional decorated and well equipped with everything you will need to fully enjoy your time on vacation.
Leave your car in the driveway and use the golf cart to slow down the pace of your holiday. A short ride takes you to the natural beauty of the gulf beaches or the convenience and options of Baytowne Wharf. Baytowne Wharf is a self-contained village with world class restaurants, activities, shopping and nightlife. Walk a mere 100 yards and you have access to the Villa Lago community pool.
Walk through the solid wood front door and the first thing you’ll notice is the curved interior walls of the foyer highlighted by beautiful crown molding and tile floors. To the right of the entryway is a full bath room to freshen up in upon your arrival. To your left is a private office (usually locked off) in the unfortunate event that you need to check in with work while you stay with us.
Continuing down the hall the home opens up to a large living room/kitchen combo with a separate dining area. Allow your breakfast coffee to be splashed with sunlight from all the east facing windows or perhaps step out onto the patio and enjoy breakfast lakeside in morning air.
Whatever the culinary creation, you'll have all the appointments needed to satisfy your hunger. Stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, tile backslash and island give you the setting and space needed to let your inner 'Emeril' run wild!
The exquisitely decorated dining room features a stone top dining table and 6 high back chairs. Step outside the back door and you have your own terrace just steps away from the lake and golf course.
When the occasion calls for relaxing indoors, nestle into one of the leather club chairs or couch and enjoy the 47in HDTV/DVD Combo.
The Second Floor:
King Master Bedroom with private terrace overlooking the lake! Sleep like royalty in the 4 post queen size bed with luxurious bedding's. High ceilings, crown moldings, TV/DVD Combo, ceiling fan, reading lamps and a walk in closet compliment the room exquisitely. The attention to detail extends to your attached, master bath. Equipped with everything you need to look and feel your best. Enjoy granite counter tops, his and her separate vanity, separate jetted tub, shower with a sitting bench and a separate commode room.
The other two bedrooms on the second floor both feature Jr. Queen beds, high ceilings, crown moldings, TVs, ceiling fans, reading lamps and their own closets. Additionally, each room has its own, luxurious, private bathroom! Granite counter tops, sliding glass shower doors and sumptuous towels make being indoors almost as pleasant as being out.
You will also find the laundry room with washer and dryer on the second floor.

Maureen, Anthony and our 4 children live in the suburbs of Chicago. We both grew up in the surrounding area, met at Northern Illinois University and have been married 12 years. Anthony runs multiple small businesses and Maureen (in addition to helping run the businesses) has her hands full caring for the children and home.

Eventually we hope to make our home in Florida. We recently sold some property and thought this would be a good time to start getting established in Florida. We have spent a fair amount of time on 30A over the years and love the area. When our agent showed us Sandestin, we had that 'aha' moment. Between the gorgeous landscaping, proximity to activities (both outdoor and indoor) and the immaculate home, we had a fairly easy decision to make.
Having a home on a golf course is simply a very pleasant way to live. Time seems to slow down when using the golf cart to get around.. Take a short jaunt to any number of activities (beach, golf, tennis, water sports) or simply go for a walk and observe the natural beauty of the area. A marina and village complete with shopping, restaurants, cafes, bars and numerous kids activities adds to a neighborhood with something for everyone.
This is a fantastic home! The pictures do not do it justice - it is better than advertised.
Our family of 4 stayed here for Spring Break. It is very clean and in excellent condition. The furnishings and decor are what you would expect in a residence and not in a rental unit.
You deal directly with the owner. He is very responsive and very helpful. Our initial inquiry and follow up questions received immediate responses.
The golf cart let us park the car for the week. In addition to Baytowne Wharf you can also access the shopping and dining at the Publix shopping center with the cart.
We travel frequently and we would not hesitate to rent this home again.
Casa Demma was a lovely spot to spend a month in Florida this winter. The property is clean, beautifully decorated and spacious, the furnishings are very comfortable and well maintained. We had several visitors, all of whom found the accommodations to be exceptionally nice. The location is great, close enough to the beach and other Sandestin attractions to be convenient, but still quiet and relaxing. We have especially enjoyed this as a starting point for walks through many lovely neighborhoods. The golf cart was both fun and a convenience. We even took it through the Starbucks drive-up! The owner, Tony, was very responsive and terrific to work with, in fact we have already reserved his other Villa Lago property for next year.
Our party included 3 adults and 2 younger children. My wife and I have been staying in this neighborhood for years, but the house we normally rent was unavailable. Luckily we found this beautiful house to stay in instead and will likely be there again in the future. The decor of the home is top notch. The TVs with basic cable were easy for my retired dad to figure out. Use of a golf cart is practically a requirement now when we visit Sandestin, which allows our vehicle to stay parked most of the week. The owner of this home was very friendly with prompt responses to any questions throughout the process. Chefs be warned however, many rentals acquire basic cooking spices and such over time from other renters that leave them behind. Since this unit is fairly new, it didn't have anything, not even salt and pepper. If you're lucky enough to stay in this unit and you find some salt and pepper there - you're welcome! :-)

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending several weeks at this wonderful Sandestin home as 2014 winter snowbirds. We have been wintering in this area for the past six years, and have to say that this home in the Villa Lago community of Sandestin tops the list in our experience as renters thus far.
This home is beautifully furnished and well maintained. Waking up every morning to sunshine pouring through the windows and enjoying our morning coffee on either the back patio or upper master bedroom balcony was truly a winter snowbird's dream come true. This home is of easy walking distance to the Village at Baytowne Wharf and also lends itself well to taking a less traveled walk past the beautiful homes lining Baytowne Loop in the opposite direction. The golf cart included in the rental price made motoring around the resort and accessing the beach, the village, and even the Publix grocery store such an enjoyable experience,,,and I don't particularly enjoy grocery shopping :) We even used the cart to participate in the annual Village Mardi Gras Pet Parade which was so much fun. Trips to the beach were a breeze with special golf cart parking right at the beach entrance.
This home has all of the amenities one could ask for in making your vacation stay an enjoyable one. Beds are very comfortable, t.v.'s are all flat-screen models, and the kitchen is extremely well equipped with top of the line appliances as well as every kitchen gadget necessary for making that special meal or for entertaining family / friends.
Tony, the owner, is both professional and efficient in all manners regarding the rental process. He puts special emphasis on making sure that you are happy and that your stay is the best it can be. Tony was very prompt in making contact with us regarding our initial rental inquiry and stayed in touch as needed throughout our stay. It was comforting to know that Tony was always just a phone call away. Our refundable rental deposit was returned immediately upon departing on the last day of our stay, which shows the respect Tony has for his renters.
We found this home, and this area of Sandestin, truly a little piece of paradise found. The fact that we could include our two canine family members in our stay at this pet-friendly home, certainly made everything perfect! Hoping to have a repeat visit at some time in the future :)

Great house with all the amenities of home. I cooked Thanksgiving dinner in the gorgeous fully stocked kitchen. Our family enjoyed touring the community in the golf cart. The kids also loved riding their bikes around Jolee Island.
Located in the Beach and Golf Resort Community of Sandestin. Enjoy 2400 acres of manicured grounds, golf courses, shopping and relaxing. Within this gated resort you can find just about anything you wish in order to fully enjoy your time down here.
