I (Sherrie Posternak) am an artist specializing in the mediums of mosaic and encaustic (painting with beeswax). I teach and show my work locally, nationally, and internationally. I live part of the year in Tucson Arizona and the rest of the time in the city of Guanajuato in central Mexico. Besides art and travel, my major interest is improving and refining my knowledge of the Spanish language and Latin culture.
My husband Bill Wade is retired from the National Park Service in which he served for 30 years. He continues to consult on organizational quality and other issues pertinent to land use agencies and corporations. When he's not in front of the computer or traveling, he enjoys hitting the little white ball.
On only our second visit to San Carlos, we decided to purchase a second home here. After looking at both condos and private homes, we agreed that we preferred the privacy and comfort of a detached building, a private home, our own little world. Every house in the neighborhood is different, and the uniqueness gives the area a sense of charm. We visit Casa Mosaico between 2 and 5 times per year. The rest of the time we like to share our love of the home and San Carlos, with you.
The attraction of Casa Mosaico is it's location slightly out of the very center of San Carlos, so close to the water and mountains, in a quiet residential neighborhood (Bahia sector). The location is central to beaches and other amenities on both sides of the bay.
