Beautiful home away from home!

We have traveled across the country and stayed at various places all over Florida, and this home by far is our very favorite of all!
During this past month of Dec. staying here in this beautiful home has offered all the comforts of home and more! The view every morning while having our peaceful morning coffee in the lanai, overlooking the pond has been so enjoyable. We have seen all kinds of nature including many birds and began to study their daily feeding habits and even two little alligators, either eyeing up thier next meal in the morning or out sunning in the afternoon! We often spotted a few brave golfers going down into the water to retrieve their ball, but we kept our distance while watching!
Burnt Store Marina is the most safe and secure communtiy you could ever ask for..and right up the road we discovered the Cape Coral area and Matlacha, Pine Island... a fun day visting various little shops and galleries after having lunch right on the water at Miceli's.
We have always loved Ft. Myers Beach and all that's around that area, also Sanibel Island...each easy to get to from here, having many great shops and restaurants..and our first day trip, returning after many years to the pure white sands of Siesta Key! It is so worth a lttle ride north just to sink your feet in the sand that feels like baby prowder, while walking the beach.
We are most grateful for this memorable month spent here... thanks to finding this beautiful home with nice owners, responsible about every detail...We sure hope to return!
