Our home is a two bedroom, two bath house on a shell road. It has hardwood floors, and a casual, beach decor. There are many windows, which give it a bright and breezy feel. The kitchen is small but quite adequate for cooking at home. It has an oven and four burner cooktop, a refrigerator and a microwave. There is a TV in the living/family room; this room also has a queen sofa bed. Each bedroom has a bath. One bathroom (with bathtub) also opens onto the hallway into the living room. The home is upstairs. The ground floor is unused, but does have a washer and dryer and another bathroom. We use the space to store beach chairs and umbrellas. This ground floor is furnished. There is parking for at least two cars, or a car and a 20 ft boat.
The home is on the beachside of New Smyrna Beach north of the north causeway.

My husband started coming to New Smyrna Beach as a boy, and we both now enjoy the relaxation and beauty of many days at the beach. Our home is simple and charming. It is quite comfortable and many children enjoy its quiet street and excellent location within walking distance to the beach. The people in this small beach town are very friendly. Simply shopping downtown, walking with an ice cream cone, stopping at a restaurant or enjoying an old car show and art festival are the pleasures of vacationing here. We love an evening walk on the beach, and the children can spend the entire day building in the sand or playing in the surf
We enjoy the small town atmosphere. New Smyrna Beach has grown correctly. The streets are quite adequate, the traffic is light, there are many local festivals, and the people are friendly. Most of the condos and hotels are at the southern end of the beach. Private homes like ours are at the northern end.
We love to fish, sail, play golf, and walk on the beach. We often fish in the surf after others have left the beach for the evening.
