Comfortable and Convenient
Kenney Kottage in Oak Bluffs was the perfect "home away from home" for our family's Martha's Vineyard vacation. The neighborhood is quiet, yet only a 5-10 minute walk to town. The house had plenty of room for the five of us. We enjoyed playing cards at the dining room table, sitting on the porch with a glass of wine in the evening, and cooking on the charcoal grill. On the days the temperature was 90+ we appreciated the air conditioners in the upstairs bedrooms. As others have noted, the shower in the first floor bathroom is narrow, but we used the outdoor shower instead. The owners have made several recent updates, including new washer/dryer and stove in the kitchen. Two bicycles were also available for use. The house was clean and the caretaker came to check that all was well soon after our arrival. The home has a wonderful history and our time spent there will be fondly remembered by our family.
