Cozy and Comfortable

We loved our short stay in this cozy, comfortable, and private home. If seclusion is what you want, this is paradise! Olympic National Park was great, but the property surrounding this house is every bit as beautiful. The trails behind the home are just as nice (in my opinion) as the Hoh Rain Forest, and there is a fast moving creek within a couple of minutes of the back door. There are even markers along the trails that identify various plants and vegetation! This place is paradise. There is a beautifully furnished (and lit) gazebo in the front yard, and a nice porch. The property is gated and locked, and the only sign of life, is the nature that surrounds you. The interior of the house is absolutely perfect. The kitchen is well equipped, and there were even marshmallows for roasting! There is no cable TV, but you will find just about any movie you could ever want to view. I personally recommend a CD we watched regarding the town of Forks and it's relationship to the Twilight books. I am not a big fan of movies, but I was able to find an array of titles that I could not possibly watch, even if we stayed a week. Most surprising, was the blazing fast wireless Internet connection. I did not expect wireless Internet, and I was thrilled to death to have it! The bedrooms were both very comfortable, as was the dining room and living room. The bathroom was spacious and in good repair, and it was spotlessly clean. Every inch of the house was clean and well maintained. Kamala was easy to reach (via email and phone) before, during, and after out visit, and she was an absolute joy. I cannot recommend this house enough if you are passing through the area. It is conveniently located, and the beaches, Forks, and the Rain Forest are short drives. There were three of us and one dog, and we all loved our visit. Our only complaint was that we did not have enough time to explore the surrounding property and trails, but we have vowed to return! When we come back, we all agreed that we will skip a day at the park, and we will roam around this property instead!
