The ideal location for families of all ages. We have 2 young children (under the age of 6) and this is the most stress free place we can take them. We bring their bikes and a wagon and our big decisions every day are what pool to go to, when we are going to go to the interactive fountain, and what beach to go to.

Ideal for adult getaway vacations also - no need to leave the island with poolside drink and food service, a top-notch restaurant with the best sunset views in Ocean City make for a stress free, no worries vacation.

Golfers- 16 championship courses within 16 miles make this place ideal. Dads sneak out early and be home in time to enjoy the day with the kids by the pool or beach. Sunset Island VIP card offers discounts to some area courses, restaurants, spas and other local businesses.

Sunset Island is the most stress free place to go-- truly a vacation 'At Ocean City, not in Ocean City.' All the hustle and bustle is only a couple blocks away but you feel like you are on an island detached from it all.

About The Owner

A young family of 4-- Pat is a Naval officer and Teresa is a stay at home mom to Jack and Casey. We hope that you enjoy Sunset Island as much as we do and come back year after year to enjoy all Ocean City, MD has to offer.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2010
Why The Owner chose Sunset Island Ocean City

Ocean City, MD has all a young family could want-- the boardwalk, restaurants, beaches, golf, mini-golf, outlet shopping and great nightlife (For date night- Sunset Island also has a great list of local babysitters)... Sunset Island has all those things right there but is a getaway with so many options of what to do for the whole family that make it the perfect place for a family vacation. We vacationed in Ocean City, MD as teenagers and started enjoying Sunset Island in 2007 and knew it was the perfect place for us to buy a 2nd home.

What makes this condo unique

Make our home, your home. All the amenities of home- large flat screen TV, TVs/DVD players in multiple rooms, Wifi access, fully stocked kitchen, comfortable accommodations-- and this home is bay front with a short walk to a private beach or just as short a walk to the kid-friendly interactive fountains. Stand on the patio or relax in the master bedroom while watching the sun come up over the ocean-- at night watch the sun set over the bay. A stocked storage area with beach chairs and sand toys and a cart to wheel it to the beach make this an even easier choice.

Sunset Island has been the preferred fall getaway for our group of 5 ladies for some time now - Pat & Teresa's condo, in particular, was a delightful respite this year. The condo is easily accessible with all of our gear on account of the handy elevator in the parking garage. In addition to being tastefully decorated with contemporary, fresh accents, the condo was clean and well-stocked for all of our cooking needs. The hand-painted murals in the common area & master bath are unique & thoughtful touches. Based on comparable condos in Sunset Island, Pat & Teresa have wisely chosen a competitive price point that will keep renters returning. We will definitely book again & look forward to next year's visit!

My family and I had a great time visiting OC. Staying at your condo made it even more special. The location was perfect for a family with young children. Even though the beach waves were too much for them to handle, they prefered visting Sunset Island's pool. The kitchen was well stocked for our meal making and the dining table was the perfect size for the crew. One thing we would like to recommend is a small grill. Not sure if their allowed on the decks though. We are planning a future trip OC and hope Pat and Theresa's place is available. Thank you!

I can't say enough good things about your condo. It was the perfect getaway for our family. Having the toys, pack n play & highchair were great for our little one, less things we had to pack. The older boys loved the DVR! The views were spectacular, we loved the community and can't wait to come back for another visit. Thank you for sharing your condo with us, what a treat!

My family had a great stay in Ocean City over Labor Day week. Pat and Teresa were very accomidating to our special need and extremely good at promptly returning emails and answering questions. We had a great stay!! Thank you so much! Your place was great and we can't wait to come back again! We are expecting our first child in October so we will def be bringing him down in the next yrs to come!!!! If anything I would say a little table would have been nice out on the balcony but other then that there's really not much more I'd change! We had such a great time and we really lucked out w the weather!!!
