Relax and enjoy an ocean front holiday in this 3100 square foot combined vacation chalet and guest house with a fully furnished 700 square foot deck and additional patio. These unique two and three storey homes are nestled up to the shores of the Salish Sea on a spacious lot and offer generous living space for up to twelve guests.

The design of the beach and guest houses offers astounding views from all five floors!

Both houses are cedar structures with vaulted ceilings. They are professionally cleaned, exceptionally comfortable, and offer all the amenities of home in a spectacular location.

The kitchens are more than fully equipped to meet dining and preparation needs for large groups. Three baths, three entertainment areas, and five separate floors provide visiting and privacy for a large group even on rainy days. The fully furnished large wrap deck, back yard, and beach offer days of pleasure whether you prefer lounging, playing badminton/bocce, or gathering sea shells.

Sandy Point Shores is the perfect place for families to create unforgettable vacations.

Sandy Point has been our favorite vacation spot for over 20 years. We still love being at the beach house and look forward to retiring there in the future.

Exceptional Oceanfront Home with Guest House in Sandy Point

We rented 2 houses in this area for a family reunion. This house was a major disappointment and did not live up to its previous reviews or ratings. It was in desperate need of a major clean and update both inside and out. We notified the owners right away and were given a very small credit towards the cleaning fee. Linens, mattress, bedding were very worn or stained and needs to be replaced. The screens were non-existent, broken, or did not close properly. The owners told us they were scheduled to be updated in the fall but we felt they should have been repaired prior to our arrival. We pay the same rent as others and if the damage was due to previous tenants, the problem should have been resolved before renting out the house again. We all pay a damage deposit. There was garden debris piled up in the backyard, and bat guano everywhere. The outdoor furniture was sticky and an ashtray had cigarette butts. We do not smoke. All should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. As for the bat guano next to the house, the owners may want to consider building a bat house away from the main house. The guest house is a converted garage. It was very hot, with poor air circulation. The owners suggested leaving the windows open all night which we did the first night but after getting eaten by mosquitoes, we were reluctant to do that for the rest of our stay. The owners were very prompt in answering our emails but unfortunately their solution was not always helpful. It is obvious they do not live close enough to keep an eye on their property. The house looked liked it had not had a thorough clean in months but I'm sure all renters were charged the full cleaning fee. I would NOT recommend this house to future renters.

Owner's Response: Dear Derek, We apologize for the delay in our response as it takes time to gather and review information surrounding your stay in August. We are so very sorry that your stay at our home was not enjoyable and did not meet your needs but we’re also confused after receiving your email three months ago indicating that you had a fabulous time. The VRBO site and our website ads clearly display our homes as not new or trendy but clean, solid, comfortable, and spacious; the property is also suitably priced. Our location, appliances and conveniences are described in detail. The housekeeping company has been taking care of our property since 2011. The ladies are professional, clean, thorough, intelligent, and honest; more like partners than subcontractors. They are also quite mystified as the homes cleanliness is always a welcome compliment from our guests. They would have been happy to come during your stay to remedy any issues you had with cleanliness and supply. The outdoor furniture is regularly checked and cleaned. Ocean waves and breezy weather causes salt spray to coat smooth outdoor surfaces with a film. The ladies have made note of this in the event that this was not the case. The bedspreads and comforters are not designed to handle regular washing and will be renewed again. Cotton sheet sets are new for all beds and 500+ thread count; checked and renewed during our spring & summer stays. Our apologies for missing the opportunity to inform you about the bat family living under the awning. We wish it was as simple as popping the bats into a bat house but bats in Washington State are protected and, after much investigation, recent information will allow us to legally exclude the bats in August or September with minimal risk of harm to them or our home. The debris encased in fur stumps behind the back fence is drying box for noxious beach weeds from the beach to be bagged later and properly disposed. Owners are not required to remove noxious beach weeds and many don’t, but we’d rather have them in the trash than cutting up little feet with their dreadful burrs. Good for Families

The owners were very accommodating, welcoming and thorough in their rental of their much-loved property. You can tell it's been in the family for quite a few years and is well cared for. It contained everything we needed and was a good gathering place for our multi-family group for sunset over the strait a couple of times and for quiet dinners. My father uses a wheelchair and this is by far the best property we found for his needs (though not completely accessible for independent mobility, we only needed to contend with 2 steps). The large kitchen is well stocked and the house well furnished. Communication with the owner was easy, frequent, flexible and clear. Very good choice.

Great Family Reunion

Very spacious and comfortable in a great location. Great for our big family reunion. Games and puzzles provided for stormy days on the beach. The 3 year olds loved the spiral staircase. Plenty of storage and seating. The view is great and the sunsets spectatular.

This Sandy Point rental worked out very well for our family. The view is outstanding and we enjoyed sunsets every night of our stay. The kitchen was very well equipped. Be sure to check out the supplies available in the laundry room if you don't find what you need in the kitchen. Some larger items are stored there, including a pot large enough to cook enough ears of corn for a crowd. There was plenty of closet space and linens. The second level in the main house has a long counter which worked out great for setting up our assortment of laptops and other electronic devices. Downstairs bathroom of main house is luxurious but does not have a shower, the only drawback for our group. The owners were very helpful with answering questions before and during our visit. We would rent this propery again.
