Yes, Misiones is a very relaxing resort. If you like to party hard, do tequila shots by the pool and play loud music, Misiones is not for you. However, if you want to enjoy a relaxing vacation with your family or someone special, I think you'll find Misiones to be the perfect place.

Hi,We live in the Midwest and really enjoy going to Cabo and getting out of the cold during our winter month's, which seems like most of the year.We are happy to share our special place with you. We welcome you at our home in Cabo and hope you enjoy it as much as we do.
The Owner purchased this condo in 2004
The main reason we purchased our place in Cabo was the location. It is the only place where the desert meets the ocean. The ocean is abundant with wildlife, whale watching, deep sea fishing, sea lions, sea rays and much more. The weather seems perfect most of the time and the local people are always so friendly and willing to help. Enjoy and relax at Misiones private beach or pool with a swim up bar. If it is excitement or night life your looking for, We are surrounded by many different restaurants and bars.(Misiones is centrally located). We have always felt safe and welcome here. Truly a place you will enjoy.
Waking up with awesome views of the ocean from almost every room in the place. Watching the whales and ray's and other wildlife (as well as the Cruise Ships) from the comfort and privacy of your home as your grilling out or just relaxing with your favorite beverage.
We take all guest comments very seriously. I apologize for the gas grill burners not working properly upon arrival. The gas grill burners will rust out and cause a uneven flame, more so around saltwater. Sometime's we are not aware of this until it is brought to our attention, as soon as it was we replaced it. It was replaced within 10 days of notification, per guest . We did receive 4 out of 5 stars, so I am very glad that they were still able to enjoy their vacation. It was also mentioned that we have a spectaculer view. Please take a look at the pictures, that is exactly what you will get. The kitchen is well suited to prepare a full meal. The manager (live's on site) works very hard to maintain a nice place. The condo has everything you need to have a enjoyable vacation, even a washer & dryer. Most of all is the spectacular view. Between your playing around in Cabo, it is very nice to come home and relax while watching the Whale's (please see actual picture's from balcony), cruise ships passing by, and listening to the sound of the ocean. So if your looking for a nice & clean place with awesome views at a great price, please contact me or fill out the request. Thank You
So glad we picked this place from VRBO! It was just as described and we especially loved spending the morning hours with a cup of tea or coffee on the balcony, watching the water, the boats and definitely the whales. It was SO quiet; we had the windows open all night and woke only to the sound of the waves. There were definitely people around, but they must all have been really aware of not being noisy. The road to the condo was being repaired as we were leaving so that will be a nice improvement. Everything in the place worked perfectly and it was great to be able to do laundry right in the condo. I do wish there had been a broom so I could have swept the floor. The pool with the swim-up bar was a favorite spot, especially since it also offered shade. The beach was a lot of fun although there's no shade. We definitely appreciated having the big umbrella from the condo. The owners were very helpful and communicative when we were planning our trip. All around a great experience.
We had a rental car and I would recommend that when staying here. I didn't try the bus or taxi options, but this place is far enough from town that a car is ideal. The only problem with having a car is paying the required insurance. That was our only nasty shock when we had to pay insurance that was several times the cost of the actual car. We spoke with other vacationers who had the same experience. Otherwise, we found everyone to be completely friendly and helpful.
This was exactly as described, beautiful view, relaxing, easy access to town when needed but far enough away to removed from the Spring Break Crowds. I would recommend a little exploring..The view from the restaurants just on the other side of hotel, has got to be one of the top views in all dinning experiences. Kitchen was perfect, cooked up our fish we caught on the BBQ outside, just a really nice place to stay! Looking forward to coming back!
This condo was exactly what we were looking for, relaxing with a beautiful view. The pictures are beautiful, but seeing the view in person is indescribable! With Misiones being out of town a bit, we didn't have to worry at all about all the college Spring Breakers, as a majority of those at the condo were owners... yet with a short drive we were in the heart of Cabo San Lucas. The condo was spacious, new kitchen, deck with grill, internet and cable. The wrap around deck allowed for an awesome view of the arch and lots of water to watch the whales dance in the Sea of Cortez. When visiting town, ALL the locals spoke very highly of Misiones and the view... even the guy that was attempting to sell us a timeshare down the road! If the locals say Misiones has the best view, it must be true!
The pool bar served delicious food, the entire staff was wonderful! The private beach was quiet and secluded. The other guests were so very nice and helpful as well!
Mike was very helpful when planning our trip and also provided an informational packet as this was our first trip to Cabo. We were nervous as this was a first time for us without all inclusive or a vehicle - and after our experience I have no regrets!
This trip was just my husband and I. Now that Misiones and Cabo are "parent approved" we're bring our young children back... as soon as possible!!! I just can't say enough wonderful things about our stay at Mike's condo!
The view from this huge balcony is absolutely amazing! The rest of the suite is very nice and well equipped. The pool bar is great and they serve excellent food in the afternoons. as well. We were here for a quiet vacation, and for the most part it was just that. This was quoted as not a place for loud partiers, and it mostly wasn't, which is exactly what we were looking for.
We did not have little children with us, but others need to be aware that the balconies at Misiones are not safe for small children. They have large gaps between the log railings on the patios that a child could easily crawl through and fall from.
Our whole family absolutely loved our stay at your condo! The pool was fantastic and the staff there were all great! Loved the authentic food you could get poolside. We really enjoyed the beach and all the amazing snorkeling you can do right there! The location was great with lots of places to shop close by. Mike was great in preparing us before we got there so we knew how to find pretty much anything we were looking for.
The condo itself is nicely done and very clean. We enjoyed our coffee on the deck every morning, the view is amazing. It was enough room for us and our 3 teenage boys.
Misiones isn't a wild Cabo party destination but a perfect place for a family holiday. One of our best summer holidays ever!
Thanks for sharing your place with us!
We really liked Misiones, and this condo in particular was really nice. It was pretty hot (we visited in June) so we didn't spend a lot of time on the patio but we did make sure to check out the views often. When the weather cooperated it was nice to leave the doors open and listen to the ocean. The condo and the complex were clean, the bar staff were very helpful, the pool was always a good place to hang out. We liked that Misiones itself was usually pretty quiet, but when we wanted to be in the middle of everything the drive into town was quick. Shopping was close by, very convenient.
We had a car, and were really glad we did. It would have been a hassle to have to catch a bus or taxi every time we wanted to go anywhere. There isn't really anything in walking distance (except the beach and pool). There were busses, but that didn't look like a very fun way to go. Taxis likely would have worked - they were always there waiting outside the gate, even in the later evening. We had 6 of us, so the car seemed to be the practical, and likely cheaper, choice.
Cabo San Lucas itself was fun, although we did get tired of constantly being approached by people wanting us to buy something, do something, go somewhere. Misiones has none of that, very sheltered, which we really appreciated.
Suggested things to do, besides the typical stuff:
* Take a drive to Todos Santos and on to La Paz - we highly recommend it, but it does make for a long day.
* Find the Giggling Bean coffee shop - we met one of the owners in the airport state-side, and they were a great resource for us in Cabo, very helpful, and it was also a nice place to relax and use wifi, out of the heat of the day.
* We highly recommend the "a maze in Cabo race" - it was a really fun, and different, way to see some of the sights in town.
* Visit San Jose del Cabo - we didn't, and wished we had at least spent a day there. Next time...
Airport tip - head straight for the exit, talk to no one, even if they say they're not a timeshare salesperson. They are. Everyone in there is. The rental car people are outside.
We have a personal concierge to help you arrange your fishing or any other event / tour. He is a local resident of Cabo who speaks very good english and is at Misiones daily. Also upon booking we will provide pages of very useful information about Cabo and your vacation, with a map of Misiones & and the Cabo Corridor.
