About samantha melli
I'm 42 and my husband 53, we' re both Italian and we have a 8 year old child. We travel a lot for work, that's wy we needed to find a place not far from Bologna where we could go every time we wanted to relax. When we stay in this house we do many things, of course we have lots of friends that come to visit and enjoy the food, but also we have wonderful walkings in these hills.
samantha melli purchased this villa in 2001
Why samantha melli chose Castel San Pietro Terme
The first time we arrived on this hill and saw the house we had our breath taken away, we just fell in love with this place which is peacefull, secure and keeps us away from the busy city of Bologna and gives us a chance to relax every time we need to.
Guestbook comments from the owner
· The place is beautiful, spacious and extremely well equipped for entertainment, cooking etc.
· It was also very clean
· It’s a bit off the tourist beaten path which is a good thing in my books but it is still close to a city and trips to Tuscany and other parts of Italy
· As hosts you were great – from arranging some provisions on arrival to helpful suggestions and the book you created with directions was good
· Thanks for thinking of us when the earthquake hit and checking on us – we did not feel it at all
· In terms of negatives some visitors may be daunted by the drive up to the place and feel a bit isolated
· We suggest you may want to warn guests before they arrive about the drive up the hill, not to scare them, but recognizing that most of us in North American drive automatics - climbing the hill in a standard shift rental car can be an interesting experience
