4 generations of our family have vacationed in the Flathead Valley for 6 decades. The natural beauty of this area is truly magnificant and inspiring. Once you visit, you will want to return. I first vacationed in the flathead Valley in 1958. Within the first hour of arriving there I was watering skiing for the first time. We returned to the Valley every 2 years, and then during the summer between my Junior and Senior year in High School, and the 2 summer's after graduation I worked at a local dude ranch, as a fishing guide and horse trail guide.

Hi Tom, we wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our vacation again this summer. Your home is perfect for our big family and the kid's friends. The duplex set up was a big plus!. It was absoulutely wonderful to begin and end each day with the overwheming beauty of the scenery around us. So many amazing things to do in your area. Looking forward to 2013. We finally saw the bear and heard the coyote behind the garage.
This house made our stay in Montana the best one yet!! The pictures don't do it justice, as there are so many extras and gorgeous views that are not shown. We travel to the Bigfork area every summer to visit family, but this year my my in-laws joined us for a week so our usual accomodations would have been way too crowded. Even with 4 adults and 4 children staying in this house there was PLENTY of room! The dual kitchens and washer/dryers made things so easy. Everything was provided, from extra bed linens, plush towels, and every kitchen utensil/appliance you could ever want or need (in both kitchens), and don't let me forget the BBQ grill that we used on several occasions. There is a little market about a mile down the road for any last minute items you might need, and if you want to go out for the evening there are few restaurants/bars, lakeside actually within walking distance. Plenty of room to park, even for the RV that my in-laws drove up. Glacier Nat Park is less than an hour away, and we spent an entire day in Whitefish playing on the Zip lines, Walk through the Treetops, and taking the lift to the top of the mountain, not to mention all the activities they had for the smaller kids. Of course we were there for the start of cherry season, so the two refrigerators helped house the 40 lbs of cherries we brought back to AZ! This house was always great to come back to after a long day, and truly felt like home by day 2!!
Tom, the owner of this property was an absolute joy to work with. He sent us receipts and information with every request, always answered the phone (or called back within the hour) when we called with a question, and returned our deposit within a week. We will definitely be back next year!!
I had the priviledge of spending one heavenly week at the property in October. The property itself is exceptionally well maintained and comfortable. You could sit and stare at the lake's mesmerizing beauty all day. But if you choose to tear youself away, there's so much that the surrounding communities have to offer. There's a winery close by, a charming family operated rock shop, and the quaint town of Bigfork...not to mention the shopping, fishing, and hiking opportunities. I can hardly wait to return.

WINTER TERMS: $500 reservation/confirmation fee due within 7 days of reservations. 1st months rent due 45 days prior to your stay. Monthly rent due on the 1st of the month, late on the 5th of the month. A late fee of 10% ($90.00) will be assessed late payments.
The house is available during the winter, Sept 20, 2014 thru May 9, 2015. A minimum stay of 3 months is required at a rate of $900.00 per month, no state sales tax, $500.00 Security Deposit and $500.00 Cleaning Deposit
SUMMER TERMS: $500.00 reservation confirmation due within 7 days of completing reservation. $500.00 reservation confirmation fee becomes security deposit on the 1st day of your stay. 1st payment of 50% is due 60 days prior to your stay.
