Take a seat on the covered deck overlooking the spacious back yard. The country setting is just far enough from the city to give you a quiet retreat with friends and family. The fully fenced backyard will provide you with a great spot to play frisbee in the shade or let the kids and dog run around. Biking and hiking is just 3 miles away at Fellows lake with a full marina. Rent a boat and get some time on the water. The fairgrounds are just around the corner as well, with a variety of events throughout the year. Don't miss Fantastic Caverns or Bass Pro Wonders of Wild Life, both just 20 minutes from the house. Locally grown fresh berries and produce are available at Tasty Acers, just a stone's throw away. Here at Majestic Oaks, there really is something for everyone!

Simple and Unique

Very unique house and we enjoyed staying in it. Process as a whole was easy and simple. Only complaint was the leftover smell from fried fish or something. But a very small complaint that went away quickly. Overall great place!

Comfortable, quality-built home in quiet setting.

We reserved this beautiful family home while attending a family wedding in the Springfield area. It proved to be a real treat: conveniently located to the wedding venue and downtown Springfield, but also to Fellows Lake where we spent an afternoon hiking and birding on one of the trails circling the lake. The house was quiet, comfortable and homey (like a stay at your grandparent's house), and we loved the mature trees that lined the property. Nicholas was a friendly and communicative host, checking in with us during our stay. We spent most of our time at the house around the dining room table catching up, or birding on the grounds. Unfortunately, it wasn't pool season. Perhaps next time.
