We have lived in North Conway for over five years and have found it an amazing place to be. We can help you plan a vacation to remember!
My wife and I made our home in North Conway just over six years ago and have been happy ever since. Our first child is almost three now and we love being able to take her hiking, biking and skiing right out our front door.
Geoffrey and Elizabeth purchased this townhome in 2013
Our family bought this property as a place for our extended family to stay when they come up to visit us. We are very pleased to be able to offer it to you for your vacation as well. This area has so much to offer that we wanted to make it easier for friends and family to visit and feel at home.
This property is absolutely magnificent in the summer and fall. The old maple trees, granite pillars and unique New England farmhouse create a special place to enjoy a week or a weekend with friends and family. If you like trains you'll enjoy the daily passes of the Conway Scenic Railroad just behind the property. In winter you can put on a pair of x-country skis or snowshoes and explore the six acres of land, or an extended trip up the railroad tracks, which are also used as a snowmobile trail.
Our family of 5 (three teenagers) had a great stay in the townhouse on West Side Rd. The townhouse had everything that we needed and was plenty big for all 5 of us. We spent a lot of our time in North Conway doing various outdoor activities, but also enjoyed many of the board games supplied in the townhouse. The only thing that we missed was the "out of order" wood stove. The townhouse was well equipped, clean and warm & cozy (despite the freezing temperatures outside). In North Conway we especially enjoyed skiing at Mount Cranmore and had a fabulous dinner at Muddy Mouse (recommended if you're looking for a casual place to take your family). We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone that's looking for a "home away from home" while staying in the North Conway area. The owners were very helpful from pre-planning our stay, with directions/instructions to the rental, with recommendations for activities in the area, and to following up after we left. We're hoping to come back again!
The Location was convenient to skiing, as well as the our favorite NH town of North Conway and all the shops and dining. A nice size kitchen, stocked with good drinking and dinnerware. Bedding and bath were clean and comfortable for our family of 6. We enjoyed skiing at Attitash, dining at Horsefeathers in North Conway, and shopping at outlets, and many shops in North Conway. Zebs still remains one of our favorite shops.
We stayed 2 nights in this wonderful Cottage in an absolutely peaceful atmosphere. Very nice and helpful owner, absolutely clean with everything we needed for cooking and barbecue. Short way to the Supermarkets in North Conway and to the Outlet, scenic drive to Kancamagus Highway or Mount Washington. We will surely come back - nice place for our New England Fall Foliage Tour!
German: Wir verbrachten zwei tolle Tage in diesem Cottage.
We wanted a place to ourselves but not a hotel or B&B. This was the perfect place. Quiet, cozy, and very clean. It was close to North Conway's downtown, but far away from all the hustle and bustle. We could cook in or eat out. The owner was very helpful with information about the area or anything we needed about the house. It was a great stay for us.
Our family of 5 stayed in the condo for 3 nights in August. The condo is nicely situated on West Side Rd in N. Conway which is a great location. The condo is well maintained and has everything you need during your stay. The air conditioning works great! The beds are all very comfortable. We had a great time and would rent this unit again.
We were looking for a place that was quiet, but not too far away from the action. This multi-acre property filled the bill. There was room in one bedroom for a portable crib and a portable baby gate helped to control the stairs. It was nice to be able to step outside without worrying about traffic or danger to a young one. We were very pleased to find it so clean and well supplied. We ate all our meals there and found the kitchen well supplied. The owner was more than accommodating when we asked, at the last minute, if we could stay an extra day. Hiking, shopping for fun and for groceries were within a few miles. All in all it was a great find for us and we will return for sure.
North Conway has everything you could want in a vacation. A year round vacation destination, North Conway can't be beat!
For families with kids, Storyland is a twenty minute drive. Also fun for the whole family are MWV Childrens Museum, Pirate's Cove and Banana Village mini-golf, Kahuna Lagoona indoor water park at the Red Jacket and the Ham Ice Arena for skating.
For alpine skiers and boarders, Cranmore, Attitash, Wildcat, Black Mtn, King Pine and Bretton Woods are all nearby.
For nordic skiers, you can ski right from the townhouse along the train tracks which sit behind the building, they are used as a snowmobile trail, so keep your ears open!
For Hikers, you have an endless amount of trails to explore nearby. Some of our favorite hikes, Diana's Baths, Cathedral Ledge, Peaked Mtn, Mount Kearsarge and the Moats.
For Bicyclists, West Side Road is a great place to start your ride. Take Passaconway Road through the covered bridge to the famous Kancamagus Highway, over Bear Notch and back down West Side.
For Kayakers and Canoeists, the saco river offers endless start and end points for day or multi-day trips. Saco Canoe Rental and Northern Extremes are in town outfitters.
For Shoppers, North Conway Village has numerous little shops to spend the day in. There are over 60 name brand outlets at Settlers Green Outlet Village.
For snowmobilers, local outfitters include Northern Extremes in Bartlett and Northeast Snowmobile Rentals in Fryeburg, ME. Unfortunately we cannot allow snowmobile trailers in the parking area at this time.
Other excitement includes the Conway Scenic Railroad with daily trips during the spring, summer and fall.
