This home is a beautiful and spacious pueblo-style house with gorgeous views of the city and the Sandia mountains .It is close to Petroglyph National Monument, Ranchos train station and cottonwood mall. It has three bedrooms (1 king bed and 2 queen beds) and a loft (high quality futon), two full bathrooms and one half bathrooms. It is an elegantly furnished large home catering to couples wanting a quiet get away but it also capable of absorbing large parties. It has a fully equipped kitchen. It also has internet and cable TV.

Why Surendra Singh chose Albuquerque

I bought the house to lure my wife into moving to Albuquerque several years ago. She is a teacher and loves her job and her little town west of Albuquerque and does not want to must yet. My daughter has been living there for the past few years. She absolutely loves living in this house but she has been spending more time in Santa Fe lately. She wants to continue to have the option of coming back to this house so we thought HomeAway would be a good middle rental option.

What makes this house unique

This house definitely has a wow factor. Every friend and visitor I have welcomed (and there have been many) in the past few years has thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house and visiting Albuquerque.

Spacious home with wonderful views.

The home was large enough to accommodate more than the five adults and two children in our party. We ate breakfast looking over the mesa to the mountains and the ascent of many balloons. We sat twelve people at our Thanksgiving table. It was a pleasure to cook our holiday meal in the lovely and well-equipped kitchen. The beds were comfortable and the house was immaculate. The owner even allowed our son, who lives in Albuquerque, to come several days early to inspect the premises. The listing was accurate. We loved the nearly hiking, and proximity to the airport, University, and downtown.

Terrific Vacation Spot

The property is spacious, clean and delightful. We stayed with 8 adults and enjoyed the location and view. Great access to trail for jogging and walks. Fabulous atmosphere! The kitchen is great and we prepared meals there every night. It is nicely stocked with more than adequate utensils for everyday living. I thanks the owners for their courteous care and I will highly recommend it to others!

Bring your cleaning supplies!!!

My family was very excited about staying in this home after reading the outstanding reviews posted; however, we were completely shocked upon arriving at the home to find that it was left in a state of filth and disorganization. The refrigerator and pantry contained so many food items from the previous guest/home owner that we had to throw some of them away in order to be able to store our food. We had to make a trip to the store to buy cleaning supplies because the oven and dishwasher were so dirty they needed to be cleaned before use. The washing machine also needed cleaning as the return was full of hair. We were left no instructions about the security code for the internet, trash day (we were staying for a week), or how to turn on the television - which happened to be unplugged. We were unable to utilize the garage for parking our cars, as they had left an Audi parked in one slot and numerous personal items stored in the other bay. The bathrooms had not been cleaned and contained various items from the previous guest/home owner. The owner and HomeAway were notified immediately upon our arrival of the condition of the home. HomeAway stated that they were not "managing" the property and therefore could do nothing. The owners had the audacity to send a note thanking us for doing such a nice job cleaning and organizing their house - however, did NOT return the cleaning deposit required to rent this home. It is our understanding that this home has recently changed ownership and it was apparent that the new owners do not have the same "cleanliness" standards as the previous owners. Beware! Come prepared to start your vacation scrubbing if you rent this home!!!

This beautiful, elegantly furnished home is located on the West side of Albuquerque. It has an easy access to the main freeways (I25 and I40), airport, and Rail Runner station. It is close to Cottonwood mall (one of the main malls in Abq), restaurants, and bars. It takes about 15 minutes to get to downtown and about 20 minutes to get to the University of New Mexico.
