Lubec House Rental Photos and Description
Easy Walk To Beach, Lubec Restaurants, Shops, View Of Bay, Artists Welcome!
You will have a kitchen and extra room to spread out. We only rent 1 bedroom of this 3 bedroom home. In the afternoon, the downstairs common room is operated as an art gallery so you can also enjoy the original art. We only rent to one party at a time so there will be no strangers in the house. There is a pleasant backyard with your choice of seating areas to view the Lubec Sparkplug, the international bridge, and the Lubec Channel.
If you are an artist, you can use one of the bedrooms upstairs as a temporary studio space. We encourage long term summer rentals and offer nightly(3 night minimum), weekly, and monthly rates. Consider this lodging if you are a SummerKeys music student or SummerBrushes painting student! We love the area and are happy to share our knowledge and experience with you.
Please ask questions if something about this home or its policies is unclear. This would be a good home base if you are considering purchasing a summer home or relocating to the area.
This listing is only suitable for adults and we do not allow pets. There are no exceptions to this rule so please don't ask.
We do still have available dates in both July 2015 and August 2015 so consider booking now! However, my favorite months are June and September so consider those as well.

We are artists and operate Friar's Bay Studio Gallery on Campobello Island and the Artists Retreat Studio Gallery in Lubec. We live in the Sedona, AZ area in the winter so we enjoy year round great weather for plein air painting. We also offer plein air painting workshops through SummerBrushes and Paint Campobello.
Great downtown location. Walk everywhere and enjoy Summerkeys and Summerbrushes. Nature Conservancy Beach and Boardwalk just a few blocks away called Mowry Beach. You will fall in love with this quiet area of Downeast Maine. Lubec is central to a great deal of publicly owner waterfront with great hiking trails.
We have wonderful cliffside chairs in the back yard from which you can see the International Bridge and the Grand Manan Channel and the Lubec Sparkplug. The house is a traditional cape from the 1860's with a very nice floor plan.
