Enjoy the sights and sounds of the Gulf of Mexico from this four bedroom, 3 bath beach- front home located on St. Joe Beach nestled quietly between Mexico Beach, 5 minutes to the west, and Port St. Joe, 10 minuets to the east. The area is known for its sugar white sandy beaches, safe waters protected from undertow by the peninsula of Cape San Blas, abundant sea life, water fowl and friendly locals with a laidback “Old Florida” attitude and a love for sharing our coast.
“Ocean Paradise” is so close to the beach you can feel safe watching the kids build sandcastles from the shade of the covered deck.
Ground level: Covered parking for four vehicles. On the beach side outdoor shower and an area furnished with a grill and table with benches. A great spot for noon time picnics or cleaning the days catch.
First level: On the front side of the home is a bedroom and full bath with a queen bed. On the beach side is an open main living area with full length windows and French doors on all walls that afford spectacular 180 degree views of the beach and true west sunsets. The seating area is furnished with two comfortable sofas, and oversized club chair, game table for four that can be used for additional dining space and flat screen TV with DVD/VCR. A great area for evening games, puzzles, movies, checking you email on the highs speed internet or just catching up on the day’s activities. The kitchen is fully stocked. The dining table sits eight and there is extra seating for four at the kitchen bar/counter. A covered gulf front deck runs the full length of the house and is furnished for dinning or seating to watch the turtle patrol or the dolphins dancing in the emerald green waters of the gulf while enjoying your early morning coffee.
Second level: There are three bedrooms and a laundry room on this level. Two bedrooms are gulf front with king bedding and share a full bath in-between. Both rooms have access to the gulf front sun deck. The third bedroom is on the front side of the house and has two sets of bunks with an extra twin mattress underneath one and has access to a door to the third bath.
This beach home is perfect for family getaways. It is centrally located between Mexico Beach and Port St. Joe with plenty of shopping in quaint shops. You are only 45 miles from Panama City to the west and Apalachicola 27 miles to the east.
The restaurants in the area serve seafood that slept in the gulf the night before and world famous Apalachicola Bay oysters and St. Joseph Bay scallops.
Come between July 1 and September 10 and try your hand at scalloping in our beautiful bay. Book a snorkeling, flat fishing or deep sea fishing trip during your stay.
