Enjoy the spectacular scenery from rooms on the main floor or from the fully finished walk-out lower level. The main floor has a charming, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, great room with a wood burning stove, sunroom, master bedroom, large bathroom, and laundry room. There is a large covered deck on the back of the house, which is perfect for sitting outside (rain or shine). First floor sleeping accommodations include a king-sized bed and two twin (trundle) beds in the master bedroom with very large walk-in closet, and a queen-sized futon (and dresser) in the sunroom. The sunroom has a pocket-door, if privacy is needed.
The walkout lower level includes another large family room, desk area, two more bedrooms (with queen and full beds), a full bath, and large “mud” room. Likewise, the lower walk-out has a sheltered patio. There is a queen sofa sleeper in the lower family room.
The 3-car attached garage has two bays available for inside parking, and the third bay contains a Ping-Pong table. There is also a basketball hoop in the driveway. The long driveway is fully paved with more than enough space for off-street car and trailer parking.
There are many amenities, including DirecTV, DVD players, Wireless Internet/WiFi, washer and dryer, dual zone central heat/air conditioning, microwave, dishwasher, lakeside campfire pit, picnic table, grill, aluminum fishing boat, canoe, and private dock. The Sugar Camp Chain of Lakes offers a very private, scenic setting surrounded by the American Legion State Forest with minimal shoreline development. Most of the chain's shoreline is either privately owned or under the control of the Wisconsin DNR. The water level is controlled by a dam, so there should always be enough water to travel between lakes. Echo Lake (at 93 acres; depth 18 ft.) is the smallest lake, but also the calmest and quietest. There is plenty of room and depth for water sports (such as skiing, tubing, jet skiing, etc.), particularly as the deepest side of the lake is near our property. Likewise activities can expand to the other lakes, which include Chain Lake (201 acres; 19 ft.), Stone Lake (178 acres; 16 ft.), Sand Lake (547 acres; 25 ft.) and Dam Lake (732 acres; 32 ft.). There are three boat ramps between the five lakes – on Chain, Sand, and Stone Lakes.
