Remarkable, beautiful home on Pine Point Beach

In the first place, it's very unusual to find a NEW home right on the beach - especially a beach as amazing as Pine Point Beach, which is the widest, longest hard-sand beach we've ever seen, perfect for miles of walking. But in addition, this home is truly luxurious - built, designed, and decorated up to the highest standards of modern construction and comfort. We were astonished at the marble and granite appointments in all the bathrooms and kitchen - the beautiful marble vanity tops, showers, granite countertops. The large travertine marble shower in the Master Suite, with four shower heads (one dropping from the ceiling!) and a seat all along the back wall, is a dream! And there are lovely blond wood floors everywhere. The Master Suite has its own lovely gas fireplace, as does the living area. And everything in the home is top-notch -- top-of-the-line equipment in the kitchen (including a SubZero fridge and JennAir stove), solid, quality furniture everywhere, a beautiful office/sitting room with French doors just near the entry, lovely bedrooms where one has the joy of waking up in the morning to an always-different and gorgeous sunrise over the ocean. In fact, one has a sense of being surrounded by light. Two of the upstairs bedrooms open to a very private balcony where one can just relax, read, think, watch the sun dance on the water, and have some lemonade! There are closets everywhere, including walk-ins, with all the space one could possibly need, and a sizable laundry room. There is nothing in this home to disappoint! We loved every minute of being there. And it was totally clean and ready for us when we arrived.
The location of the home is VERY convenient, too. There are great fun seafood places very close by - for example, The Clambake (walking distance), Bayley's, etc., for an informal atmosphere and plenty of lobster and steamers. Old Orchard Beach is only a couple of miles away, with its many little eating niches and shops open during the spring and summer months. And Portland isn't far at all for every kind of restaurant, entertainment, museums, and so on.
Last but not least, the homeowner is very kind and accommodating as well!
