This one-bedroom, one-bathroom condo at the Rockies is the perfect launch point for mountain adventures located a short walk to the Steamboat Base Area, a quick drive into downtown, and near a free city bus stop. Family friendly amenities enhance your stay and include an outdoor, year-round heated pool, two community hot tubs, and BBQ grilling area.

Hang your skis at the door, kick off your boots, and unwind in the cozy living room. Log into your meetings in between powder turns at the desk or fuel up for the day at the breakfast bar. The fully-equipped kitchen has everything needed to prepare a great meal, enjoyed together around the table with seating for two. Breathe in the mountain air and share stories outside on the ground level patio.

Rest your tired ski legs in the comfortable bedroom with a king bed and closet and dresser storage. A shared bathroom in the hallway has a shower and tub combo. There is additional sleeping accommodation on the queen sofa sleeper in the living room. The community coin-operated laundry facility is available for use in the clubhouse.

The Rockies complex is 400 yards, by maintained walking path, to the west side of the Steamboat Base Area. In the summer months, line up friendly competition on the sand volleyball court or hop on the paved bike trail across the street. A no-fuss parking area allows ease of access into each building. Heading to town? Complimentary, on-call shuttles are available for Retreatia guests December - April.

Week of spring skiing

The property definitely suited our needs. The shuttle service Retreatia offers was extremely useful and I wish we would’ve chosen to take advantage of it every day. However, the mountain is a short walk (10-15 mins) away anyway, so we did that more often. The fireplace was unfortunately out of order but everything else was as expected. We weren’t able to take the trash out as they request because of the heavy snow covering the lid. Check in and out was very simple and straightforward.

Convenient nice property

Nice property that was continently located to the slopes. A little chilly though because the only heat in the front room was from an electric fireplace.

Great stay

Great well appointed condo with easy access to base area. We had a great stay and would highly recommend. Only negative, which would be easily fixed by owners or property management, are blinds in bedroom are not great and the light comes in all night long from the street light right outside the bedroom window. We put a blanket over the window and had were able to sleep but without it, it was super bright in the room at night. They should have a curtain/shade instead of blinds. But this would not hinder me from staying again as we liked the location and condo itself.
