Ideally located, a unique apartment in a very peaceful neighbourhood.
It was fully renovated in 2010. It is furnished and fully equipped. Very modern decorated. It is in the fifth of a five floor building. There are two bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is jacuzzi in the main bathroom and hydro massage tower in the second one. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven,microwave, dishwasher, fridge with freezer & automatic ice maker, cutlery, dishes and pans, kettle, espresso coffee maker, toaster. Coffee capsules are provided as well. There is also a vacuum cleaner and a laundry machine, a laptop and a PS3 console with games. Two big closets will make your stay more comfortable. Bed linen and towels are provided. The apartment is fully air-conditioned. The apartment is very close to a Greek traditional taverna, a pharmacy, banks and public transport. The nearest beach is only 2 km away. Only 200 m away from the apartment, there are bus stations from where you can take a bus to the city centre, to the south or northern suburbs.
Airport transport or any other transport is available upon demand at an additional cost. I organize also private custom tours to the most historical places outside of Athens at very competitive rates.

It is in great location. It is very close to the city center but also very close to the beaches in southern suburbs. Everything like, supermarket, banks, pharmacy, tavernas, bakery, bus station are only within 200 m from the apartment. There is also plenty of parking space around the building. Last but not least, the apartment is located in a very safe and secure neighborhood.
I fully renovated this apartment 2 years ago, choosing very unique and expensive materials. It is very modern, minimal and fully equipped. That is why, I am sure that all of holidaymakers who are going to visit my place, they definitely love it.
"Nous avons été très heureux de notre séjour chez notre hôte grec. L''appartement -de standing- était très agréable à vivre, tel que c''était annoncé voire mieux (en effet, une annonce ne transcrit pas l''atmosphère), il était très bien climatisé. L''immeuble et le quartier étaient calmes. George nous a laissé son appartement en toute confiance. C''est son ami Andréas qui est venu nous chercher et qui nous a ramené à l''aéroport, ce service proposé était bien pratique. Personnellement nous avons préféré le tram au bus qui est un peu plus éloigné que le bus mais coté tram nous avons préféré et puis le quartier de Néa Smyrni est très tranquille à traverser. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié Athènes. Les Grecs sont un peuple qui ne ressemble à aucun autre, calme et accueillant, fiers aussi -nous l''espérons- de leur Histoire, grandiose. Je pense que c''est un peuple qui a tous les atouts pour se sortir de cette crise. En tant qu''Européens, nous devons les aider, les touristes doivent aller à Athènes qui n''est pas non plus une ville polluée. Post-scriptum pour George : vous avez du remarquer que manquait un de vos parasols, on l''a oublié dans un ferry. Désolés ! On espère que cet avis compensera notre négligence. A Athènes, c''était super ! Et à Athènes chez George.
My wife and I and our adult son stayed there for a week and thoroughly enjoyed it. It is on the fifth (top) floor of this building, but the lift worked well. George was very responsive to our small needs. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was easy to navigate, even though we spoke only English. It is in a very quiet and safe neighborhood with a pharmacy 3 doors down and a small grocery a few doors up from this apartment. A Carefore was only 2 blocks away. Taxis came promptly. The city square was probably a 15 minute walk from the apartment. We would highly recommend it.
First of all George was fabulous was very helpful with choosing sidetrips providing transportation to and from the airport and making sure the apartment was fully stocked I will stay here again definitely good location was perfect fiveminutes from downtown Athens and a very short cab driver thank you George for making our vacation wonderful. the apartment was very safe and beautiful
The Athens apartment was a great place to visit. George was a great host. He had us picked up at the airport and driven to the apartment. It was about 15 minutes from the center of town and in a very nice neighborhood. We felt comfortable walking around and had not problem getting to the city center. Amenities were close and the apartment was wonderful. Had all the luxuries of home. We would definitely stay again if we were in Athens.
We had a great stay in Athens despite the heat (30+ degrees every day). The apartment is located about a 5-10 minute taxi ride away from the center of the city. The photos very accurately depict the apartment. We stayed here with our 2 teenaged children for 3 nights. George was very responsive to our inquiries and arranged transport to and from the airport as well as trips to Delphi, Vouliagmeni, and to Cape Sounion to see sunset at the Temple of Poseidon. His assistants Jerry and Nick were excellent in providing customer service for our trips which we enjoyed. There is a supermarket (Carrefour) just down the street (4 blocks), as well as a couple of banks. The tram into the center of the city is about a 10 minute walk, or the bus stop which is about a 5 minute walk. The apartment is set in a residential neighborhood. There was a huge open market on Tuesday that was about a 15 minute walk away towards Omirou street. There were open stands on the streets in several directions that stretched for several blocks. There were stands with food, clothing, meats, fish, etc. The apartment is filled with light and is on the 5th floor. There is a small lift that can accommodate 4 people without bags. The espresso in the morning was very much appreciated. August in Athens is HOT, thus the AC was a must. Excellent WiFi access as well. There is a small restaurant across the street which is OK. There is a great seafood restaurant (ΚΟΛΛΙΑΣ - KOLLIAS) about 4 blocks away, where you get to pick your fresh seafood before they cook it. It was excellent. George was very easy to work with and gave us a good price on the airport transfers and trips which were the highlights of our visit, especially Lake Vouliagmeni where you can swim in the mineral water (slightly brackish), and have the little fish nibble on your skin when you rest on the rocks. We did not have quite enough time to see all the sites we wanted to see in Athens, so perhaps we will need to return.
This was our second stay at the apartment after our first visit in 2013, which we reviewed on the Homelidays website, Like the previous occasion we stayed for three nights as part of a 22 night visit to Greece. We find the apartment perfect for settling back in and visiting some of the city's wonderful attractions and excellent restaurants before heading off on our wider explorations of the country. Superbly equipped with everything you need, an excellent Cretan restaurant just across the road, a well-stocked Carrefour supermarket a few hundred metres stroll away, with easy access to local buses and only a ten minute walk to the tram, this is a luxury top floor apartment served by a lift which is available throughout the year at excellent prices. For considerably less money than the price of two city centre hotel rooms you can enjoy the freedom and space that the location amply provides. The neighbourhood feels very safe at all times, the WIFI connection works brilliantly, George and his cousin Jim are excellent hosts and also offer a collect and return service to the airport at reasonable prices in a comfortable, large vehicle with plenty of room for travellers and luggage. As a travelling party of husband and wife with our 23 year old son the two bedrooms and bathrooms provide for maximum privacy and comfort, but more guests can easily be accommodated. Quality of furniture, fittings and equipment is very high, and features like electrically powered shutters and access onto a large "wrap around" balcony around the exterior frontage of the apartment simly add to the feeling of luxury and comfort. We would not hesitate to recommend the apartment and will be happy to return ourselves for a third stay on our next trip to Athens.
I can't say one bad thing about my stay, the apartment was newly remodeled and modern. Very clean and filled with everything and anything you could need. Location is not bad, walking distance from the water and all the historic locations. A great restaurant right next door and a small shop just a few meters away. To top it all off the manager set us up with any commendations we needed, and at a very fair price.
200 m away from the apartment there are bus stations from where the buses are leading to the most areas of Attica.
Several lines lead in about 10 minutes to the Historical centre and to the Syntagma Square in the centre of Athens. Finally the line A2 is leading in less than 20 minutes to the most beaches of the south suburbs of Athens.
Only 100 m away from the apartment there is a super market and in less than 200 m away you can find traditional tavernas, a bakery, restaurants and cafeterias.
