Ram's Head Farm, one of Maine's premier historical landmarks and recently renovated and offered to the public for the first time in over a century. This eloquent 12- room home was a working dairy farm in the 1900's and features panoramic water views of the York River. It lies nestled in 20 acres of rolling open meadows, forest, and mature gardens that are under easement protection and abut other conservation property. You will relax and enjoy the screened wraparound porch that overlooks the York River. You will also appreciate the outdoor patio with a fireplace, two ponds and attractive outbuildings that compliment the many unique attributes of this one-of-a-kind property. Old charm and character blend perfectly with the fully equipped modern kitchen, HDTV, internet/WiFi, and laundry area.

You can enjoy hiking Mt. Agamenticus (5miles away) or biking, paddeboard, and of course all of the York's spectacular beaches, York Harbor Beach, Long Sands Beach, Short Sands Beach, 10 minutes to Fort Foster Beach in Kittery Point, picnic areas, restaurants, shopping (outlets 10 min away) and spas. If you are a golfer there are a number of courses within a 15 to 20 minute drive, The Ledges and the Cape Neddick Golf Course are in York.

You are 15 minutes from Portsmouth, N.H., 1 hour to Boston, 45 minutes to Portlland, Maine. Live theatre in Portsmouth, many, many fine restaurants, and shopping.

Find some thrills in whale watching, or how about a cruise to the Isle of Shoals. You are never far from just about anything you might enjoy.

Most important is the escape and peace you will always remember at Ram's Head.

We will be accepting wedding events at the Farm. The fees will vary from our daily and weekly stays in the Farm so please call for more details and the fee structure.
