The property's interior is clean and bright, with pleasant furnishings. A home away from home!
While tucked away in a quiet residential neighborhood, the Mount Clare Little House is only a short walk to downtown and it's many delicious restaurants, great music venues, and abundant art galleries. One can also walk within the neighborhood to find a large, healthy, organic grocery store, a wonderful yoga studio, a playground, a greenway, and an experimental forest with walking trails.
The property is also only a short drive to the Blue Ridge Parkway and The Biltmore Estate. One can enjoy tons of great hiking and mountain biking in the surrounding mountains or raft, paddle, or tube down one of the many rivers that runs through the area.
Nice home situated within walking distance to so many great things...amazing grocery stores, yoga studios and wonderful restaurants!

Book the Mt Clare Little House - you'll agree - it's Great!!
What a great place! We felt like we were home. It was so nice to be able to stay in a neighborhood close to everything. We could walk to shops, dining and sightseeing. It was our first time to use Homeaway and it was a great choice. Our place was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again! I recommend this to anyone thinking of visiting Asheville!
Loved our stay. The house was very comfortable for a weekend stay for two people. It was very clean and made to feel very relaxing...which I needed. Great location to uptown...didn't need a car. I think it would be even more enjoyable in the summer
I stayed here with my husband and another couple for a weekend get away. The location couldn't be better - a 5 minute cab ride to popular restaurants and breweries, or a quick walk to cafes and shops! The house was very clean and tidy. We really enjoyed having separate bedrooms, but common space to relax, play cards and watch TV together-much better than getting two separate hotel rooms! We can't wait to come back again!
This was a nice little house. Were were taking a driving vacation with 2 young children, and this house was just enough room! This was a nice reprieve from hotels. My husband and I had one room, my 5 yr old had the other. My youngest was in a pack-n-play, and she had to sleep in the living room because of space issues, but it worked out well. The house was decorated and stocked well, they went out of their way to make sure we had fresh flowers and coffee, which was wonderful. They even had nice soap (this might sound weird), but it was just one more little touch that added to it.The family that keeps up the rental actually lives in the main house on the property, so they are close if you have any questions. The only thing that could have been better is, that the floor could have been cleaner, but it wouldn't stop me from coming back again :)
