This charming and ideally located house, set on a half acre of land, easily accommodates an entire family, with five bedrooms and two and a half baths, a large kitchen, a fabulous outside dining patio and a big, beautiful yard. For very reasonable rates, you will be within minutes of East Hampton village, with its great shopping, restaurants, art galleries and night life and also within minutes of the beautiful ocean and bay beaches that have made the Hamptons famous. Also nearby are the historic hamlets of Sag Harbor and Amagansett. A perfect getaway, by the week or month, just 2 1/2 hours from New York City.

My friends and I greatly enjoyed our stay here. A quiet neighborhood within walking distance from town, train and a short bike to the beach is ideal. Great for people who don't own a car. You can avoid all the traffic. Supermarket is a few blocks away, great cheese shop and a farm stand as well- what more do you need? Taking bikes gives you easy access to the incredible, quiet Egypt Beach. I've walked to the beach with my non-bike riding friends (2 miles). The house is cozy with a large well-stocked kitchen for people who like to cook with friends. A large, private yard with plenty of room for kids to run around is a big plus.

I rented this house for my out of town family to stay while visiting for my Montauk wedding in July 2011. The house is larger than it appears in the photos. My family was pleasantly surprised when they arrived. The bedrooms were comfortable and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and comfortable to cook in. Everyone really enjoyed sitting in the backyard and grilling. It's very quiet and private with a large lawn. The house was a great value and perfect for visiting with family. The owners were lovely. They left me a candy and a note congratulating me on my wedding. I would definitely rent this house again.
