This unique home is located on a private road on North Sunken Meadow with waterfront views of Cape Cod Bay. Two of the three decks overlook the natural beauty of the Salt Marsh and Tidal Creek. On the main deck there is a retractable awning and built-in gas grill. Outside there is a custom brick patio area with hammock and dining area. Enjoy the spectacular sunsets. This home includes a Master bedroom with a gas fireplace. The second bedroom has two twin beds. Both bedrooms on 2nd level have panoramic views of Audubon Lands and Billingsgate Island of Cape Cod Bay. There is a full bath with walk-in shower on 2nd level. The Main level has large living room with fireplace, full bath, kitchen and dining room. Off of kitchen their is a sunroom where one can enjoy listening to music or reading a good book. The lower level is fully finished with 1 bedroom with queen bed, half bath with entertainment area and daybed. This home is pure easy living where one can get away from it all.

This unique home is over-looking serene Audubon Land of Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary with many species of coastal birds. Kayak or Canoe the tidal creek leading out to Cape Cod Bay, and Lieutenants Island, right from your backyard. You may walk down your private wooden stairway to the Meadow and swim in the creek with its warm waters great for floating at hide tide. Yes, the creek does have a sandy bottom, safe for adults and kids to explore natural coastal habitat at low tide. Public Beaches, Nauset Light and Coast Guard Beach on the Atlantic Ocean are only two miles and South Sunken Meadow on the Bay is only one mile away. Eastham is the gateway to the Cape Cod National Seashore with its many hiking and biking scenic trails. The Cape Cod Rail Trail is located only half a mile from the Cape Cod National Seashore's Salt Pond Visitor Center. After enjoying dinner outside on one of your three decks, witness some of the most spectacular sunsets in the world

What a wonderful house and so beautiful this time of year. Great views of Sunken Meadow marsh. So peaceful and relaxing. We'll definitely come back here.

The landlords are very helpful. If you're arriving at night, make sure to get directions from Michelle beforehand - it's easy to get to once you know where you're going!

Perfect outer Cape setting for family vacation

A wonderful setting overlooking the Audobon Sanctuary and to Cape Cod Bay beyond, with kayaking to the bay right in the creek off the back porch. Every sunset a new treat. The house had a lovely character and was charmingly appointed with all the amenties we look for after 20 years of renting experience. With two teenage girls and the occasional teenage friend staying for a day or two, the house had to allow flexible entertaining. There are so many different and pretty places to sit, including upper and lower decks, the spatious back yard and even a "secret" overlook beyond the garden.

Owners were very responsive to all questions and concerns and made sure everything was as it should be. Perfect location for getting to any of the National Seashore or bay beaches, with easy access to Orleans, Brewster, Wellfleet and Truro. Bike trail a quick ride away. One of the best places we've stayed and will definitely be #1 on our list for our next Cape vacation.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
