LOVELY BEACH & BAY HOME

What a wonderful house!  My mom and I rented this property for two months while visiting family and friends in the San Diego area.  We couldn't have made a better choice.  The home is spotless, the decor lovely, and it is extremely well-equipped.  Its location in a quiet neighborhood is perfect.  Sail Bay, only two blocks away, is pleasant for bike riding, walking or running and is much more peaceful than the ocean front walk.  The children's park on the bay at Fanuel St. is always buzzing with young families.  The Pacific is also only two short blocks from the house.  Its ocean front walk is full of activity and dotted with restaurants.  It is the place to be at sunset.  Some days, however, we just relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful backyard.  There were days we didn't even use our car.  Numerous restaurants, Ralph's supermarket, CVS, the library, and all kinds of shops are within easy walking distance (1- 4 blocks).  It was difficult to leave this 'home away from home'.   We shall definitely return and highly recommend it to family and friends who are planning a visit to San Diego.

This was actually our fourth summer staying here and it is always amazing. I have two kids (6 and 4) and the house is absolutely perfect for our family vacation. Easy walk for little ones to both beach and bay, quick walk to the grocery store for forgotten items and great resturaunts in the neighborhood. Not to mention Sea World, Zoo, harbor cruise and Scripps aquarium are great and easy to get to. Depending on the year, we have taken a car and also spent a week without a car. Either way, there is plenty to see and do. The house has everything you need (well equipped kitchen, bikes, beach toys, beach towels, umbrellas, DVD, WiFi, etc.). We love the house and location and will definitely be staying for years to come!

We just returned from a few days at this lovely Pacific Beach home with our 4-year-old, 1-year-old, and my husband's parents (4 adults, 2 kids total). The home is immaculate, well stocked, and truly larger we expected. We all fit just fine and enjoyed the outdoor space and walk-ability of the location immensely. Our trip to Sea World was such a breeze because we were so close. We were also able to walk to Sail Bay and the ocean daily (Starbucks and Ralphs, too!). We really appreciated the accommodations for children, including a pack-n-play, high chair, plus a few toys and children's movies. Thank you for sharing your wonderful house with us!
