Guest Review: "This house was clean, very comfortable, and easy to use. Check-in was super friendly and accommodating, beds were very comfortable, and we just sank into the awesome couches. There were even videos for the kids!" - C. Moody
"White Elm #14 is a good house for a family w/teenagers. With the master bedroom up, you don't hear the kids running around downstairs. The wrap around deck is very nice allowing you to enjoy sun or shade any time of day. Fortunately, the shade hits the back deck in late afternoon/evening which makes for a very pleasant dinner time outside." - Julie
First let me say I'm a professional travel writer. Usually I'm pretty lenient with my reviews but this place just had to have a bad review! First off there are not 4 bathrooms as stated. There are only 3.5 bathrooms. Not a big deal unless you're planning on 4 full bathrooms as we were since we were traveling with 4 couples.
The place is pretty nice although very dated and you need to be a mountain goat to climb all the stairs both inside and out. Both the heating system and the plumbing system are pretty shot. Absolutely no water at any time can be used when someone is taking a shower or you will get scalded or frozen! Very dangerous if you have little kids with you.
The kitchen is extremely well stocked although there's no space in the cabinets for any food stuff. Also the kitchen is very small so if you're planning on doing a lot of cooking keep in mind you will not have room for more than two people at a time.
The beds were comfortable accept the bunkbeds which we couldn't even use because they were so horrible. We had to go get a blow up mattress.
The living room couches are pretty confortable but they are pretty old and white leather so the leather is cracked and dirty looking.
Last but not least if you can help it, don't rent through Mt Resort Property. They were useless!
Sunriver Resort is a spectacular and fun place to visit but there are several better options than this house or this property management company.
