About Alison Hamilton Fellman
My husband and I met when he sailed into Auckland on the 1985 Whitbread Around the World Yacht Race. He then came back again in 1989 in the next Whitbread, but it took him many years to return to make this our home in New Zealand. I spent many years in San Diego with the America's Cup Women's Team in 1995, and now we have retired to our farm about an hour north of Auckland, so our beautiful city home can be made available for special guests. you can see more information about us by looking up - the flying horse ranch in New Zealand. Why Alison Hamilton Fellman chose Auckland City
Literally walking distance from the CBD, via the Ferry from Devonport/ Stanley Bay. There aren't many people who can say their home has been in the family for 102 years, but this one has. Original furniture and fittings, but with modernised kitchen(s) and bathroom(s). There is also a separate self contained one bedroom, which is currently unavailable.
What makes this villa unique
Enjoy the ambience of a true Edwardian Villa in a quiet peaceful seaside neighbourhood. Large enclosed sunporch faces north giving all day sun during the winter. Two fireplaces, and a real cook's kitchen made from marble we imported from Italy, as we were living there in 2003. Bedrooms have blackout curtains, so if you have jet lag you can sleep as long as you need to … the sun will beam in on the other side of the house where the kitchen, bathroom, dining room, etc. are. Internet, Sky TV, heating, electric blankets - everything you could wish for.
