Sugarloaf Hideaway is situated on twenty acres and shrouded by 100 foot hemlocks, now that is a true wilderness getaway that the entire family would enjoy! Just 5 minutes from the Youghiogheny River Lake, Dam, Ohiopyle State Park and Sugarloaf Knob!

The home is a spacious 4 bedroom, 2 bath bungalow. Each of the individually decorated bedrooms hosts a Queen size bed which will be extra inviting after a long day of site seeing the historic area. No need to share, when the home offers two bedrooms downstairs and 2 bedrooms upstairs both floors having their own private full bathrooms. The home offers an over sized kitchen and dining area that the entire family can enjoy a home cooked meal in morning, noon and night. The living room is extra special with its ample space for family activities that also opens up to a second story deck. Don’t feel like staying in? The Sugarloaf Hideaway also offers a private porch, lawn chairs and a BBQ charcoal grill with smoker. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental.
I was very unhappy with the location.
The vacation rental was somewhat dirty.
The property manager was adequately helpful.
Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental.

Not a good place to stay ... Nothing is great about this place. The rooms are not spacious at all, view is not good, no play area around the house, hard to find the house, bad smell from the kitchen cabinets, no AT&T network

We had a great time! The place was quiet, clean, and comfortable. The only negative was that there was a wasp's nest out on the deck. We had to "bat" it off and then were unable to use it much of the night.

Reviewer Comments:
The home had everything you could need to make your stay comfortable. There were 4 comfortable beds, comfortable furniture, and a very well equipped kitchen. While we were there, it was very hot and humid, so we loved the air conditioning. The location was perfect- close to Ohiopyle SP, and Confluence for food shopping.
The kids missed having cable or satellite TV, but we watched a movie with the DVD player. The water, although drinkable, had a bad smell, but when we put the water in the fridge, the smell dissipated. The upstairs rooms were warmer than the ones downstairs, but when we were there, it was in the high 90's outside, so the AC system was working overtime.
Tis home is like a home away from home!

Everything was perfect. The house was clean, spacious, and nicely decorated. All contact with the company was warm and accomodating, and we had a nice relaxing few days.
