This studio apartment has the most desirable views in all of NYC. Overlooking the East River, Williamsburg Bridge and all of lower Manhattan. All at very affordable prices! The unit is located on the 6th floor with elevator service. There is a washer and dryer on the premises as well as a fitness center and a beautiful outdoor parklike space for all the occupants. This unit is a very short walk to all that Williamsburg has to offer and only one subway stop to Manhattan on two separate subway lines the L line or the JMZ line . Both are quite close and a quick walk. Bedford ave 3 blocks away is the heartbeat of the neighborhood and has many shops, restaurants, cafes as well as nightlife and fun pubs. The studio itself is equipped with free WiFi, flat screen TV, A/C, modern appliances , stone countertops, and hardwood floors. You can also walk about two blocks and take a scenic ferry to Manhattan. You wont be disappointed!
My stay was perfect! I absolutely love your apartment rentals. Place is clean, feels safe (since I travel alone), Wifi worked, and the new market that opened is convenient & amazing. I enjoyed my morning walks to Marlow & Sons for coffee, Bedford station was near by and at night I was a short cab ride away from SOHO where I was showing art work. And, the view from my room is simply breathtaking. Five stars! I will definitely be back. Thanks for being so accommodating.
This property has a wonderful location and view of the Williamsburg Bridge. A six block walk to the subway with lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby. The furnishing are spartan. Be aware that there is only an "airbed" (no box springs or mattress) if you have back problems. The only two things I would change is that I would provide more clothes hangers - there are are insufficient hangers. Need at least a dozen more, especially if people are there for a wedding or party. Also the tiny travel hairdryer is insufficient. You need a real hair dryer. I will stay again!
This was the second time I've stayed with Erin and it's been great both times. The apartment has everything you could need (soap, toothpaste, Q-tips, laundry detergent and tons of spare towels were all found in the closet when I realized I had forgotten a few things) and the building is great. You can't beat the view, the shower has great water pressure and I was left wanting for nothing. I'm already looking forward to my next trip back!
The studio is exactly as described, the check in out process was easy and Erin responded to any requests quickly. The studio has everything you need and is close to lots of restaurants, cafes, a market and the subway is close for travel to Manhattan. thanks again Erin
Very clean, neat and tidy. All the extras provided: Toiletries, dishwashing and laundry detergent, manual with information, and great amenities. Made use of the laundromat and gym during our stay. The view was excellent, everything within walking distance and a 10 minute stroll to the nearest metro station. What a great place!!
We had a fabulous time here during our week here....Erin had thought of everything including toiletries, umbrellas, towels and washing products! The apartment was immaculate and THAT VIEW......it was wonderful to sit out and watch the changing sky during the day/evening.
I cannot recommend this apartment highly enough for those who want to be close to Manhattan but want the change of being in a neighbourhood where there is a fabulous feel. We felt safe the whole time and the referral book was fantastic; we made some additions ourselves!
I can see why people have returned and we would not hesitate to do so. This is a gem of a place......
We loved just sitting and looking across the river to Manhattan and at the "busyness" on the water in the morning before we set out for the day and in the evening after a day of being tourists. Amenities were a little thin though e.g. Would have been great to have a couple of wine glasses to enjoy our wine whilst looking at the view at the end of the day. Some salt and pepper apart from little sachets, a tea towel in the kitchen, a bed side lamp on either side of the bed.... some little things, but they do make a difference. More detailed instructions about the laundry would have been useful too.. as we are not Americans, we had no idea how much it would cost, therefore no idea about how much to put on the card. We ended up taking our laundry out to do. But the view more than made up for everything and Erin was very helpful after the muddle up over our arrival.
We are located in an historic waterfront industrial area that has had quite the makeover in the last few years. You can walk 1 block and hop on a ferry to Manhattan,a great and scenic alternative to the two subway lines that are one stop from Manhattan and both are less than a mile from the apt and quite accessible . L train and Jmz subways. Williamsburg is a very sought after neighborhood filled with local artist working and living in their lofts. Bedford ave is 3 blocks away and is the main avenue in the heart of this artsy town. You will find many great restaurants , pubs, and cafes along your walk, as well as great nightlife and music venues. Some of our favorite eateries are Marlow and Sons, Diner, Isa, Patrizias, Aurora, Peter Luger and Dressler to name a few. There are also many great Bars including Lucky Dog where customers are encouraged to bring their dog and let them mingle with the crowd. We also love Skinny Dennis where you can enjoy American country and classic rock n roll, and listen to local musicians most nights. There are also some larger music venues such as Brooklyn Bowl, which host a Blue Ribbon restaurant and bowling alleys inside the venue. Music hall of Williamsburg and Knitting Factoryalso close by. Brooklyn Brewery located next to Brooklyn Bowl offers free tours and is open to the public everyday to enjoy Brooklyns largest brewery.
