Luxury Home 10 minutes to DIsneyworld. No detail overlooked! Lakefront with beautiful lake view and south facing pool with spa and multi- colored pool light. Designed by NYC nightclub designer with the kids in mind. There is a 'Superhero' bedroom as well as a 'Disney Princess' bedroom complete with carriage bed. Costumes galore for the kids to get into the Disney Spirit! For the adults there's a Hollywood Studios master bedroom (in the golden days of Hollywood decorum) as well as a tastefully done Animal Kingdom Room and a Florida Sailing Room with a view of the palm trees and the lake. The bedrooms are immersed in each theme. We took the 6th bedroom and turned it into the ' Ziegfield South.' The design of this film room was inspired by the famous NYC theater the 'Ziegfield.' The Ziegfield South comes fully equipped with stadium seating and a popcorn machine. Even the en-suite bathroom is designed with the theater theme...just like the Ziegfields bathroom! The three other bathrooms include a Nemo bathroom, a Hollywood Studios bath and a Cape Cod style bath.
The 1960's-inspired Austin Powers game room has a high end regulation (maplewood) pool table, and sports a full wall sized Austin Powers mural, created by 'Chico,' a famous Lower Eastside (NYC) graffiti artist. There are several flat screen TVs, two larger than 50 inches. The entire home has high end furniture (there is no cheap items here). The dining room is formal and seats eight. There is a custom kitchen that has granite countertops and a granite bar top. The cabinets were custom made for the kitchen. In the bedrooms, all the mattresses have state of the art memory foam tops. There is a pool alarm AND a pool fence to double protect the kiddies. The HVAC unit has a ultraviolet, bacteria killing lightbulb so everyone is breathing easier. There is an office alcove if you need to fax or print any documents. A washer and dryer are both on the premises. Hair dryers in all the bathrooms. And of course alarm clocks in all the bedrooms.
Hampton Lakes is a beautiful, safe, community that has a nice clubhouse and tennis, courts, community pool and playground. If you want to take a break from the theme parks for a day, this is the house to spend it at!
This is the 'Dream Come True Capital of the World'.....Disney, Universal, Sea World, and Lego-land on it's way....need I say more?
We stayed in this house over Spring Break with another family and had a blast. There were 4 adults, 2 boys (16, 10) and 3 girls (14, 14, 10.) There was plenty room for all of us. The pool, game room, and movie room provided plenty of entertainment for the kids (and adults.) We ordered pizza one night, used the gas grill one night, and used the rest of kitchen the other nights. Kitchen was large and fully stocked with the right utensils, pots, dishes, etc. Location of the house was good. We went to Discovery Cove, Aquatica, and Sea World and it took less than 30 min to get to each park each day. We also drove to Busch Gardens one day and it took about an hour. The owner communicated well with me before, during, and after our stay. I highly recommend this house. This is the second time we've VRBO'd a house in Orlando for Spring Break. Both houses were nice, but this was a better experience due to the other amenities in the house (game room and movie room in particular.) Both homes had a pool. This one had a nicer pool and patio area as well. I'd rent this one again without even thinking about it. Price was great too.
We have stayed in Hampton Lakes for the past three years when our daughter plays in Orlando on Spring break and by far this place was the best home we have stayed in. Beautiful home backing up against a lake which we went down to and feed the turtles. Nice, quite area. The home wasn't actually ready when we got there but the owner accommodated us to a nice dinner at Bahama Breeze. The pool and hot tub was nice and warm. Early Sunday morning we watched the hot air balloons going by in the sky. We had a great time and ready to go back next year.
We stayed at this house in February 2015 and had a great time. There was plenty of room to accommodate our group and the house was very clean.
We made use of all the amenities the house had to offer. When we weren't out taking in local attractions we were enjoying the heated pool, hot tub, and having air hockey and pool tournaments. Most nights ended with movies and popcorn in the theatre room. The memory foam beds were also very comfy.
The location is convenient to Universal and Disney. We also made our way to Clearwater water aquarium and Kissimmee. The owner was very helpful and fantastic to deal with. I'd recommend this house to anyone looking to stay in this area, especially for a Disney vacation. The kids loved it as well.
We have stayed in Hampton Lakes a number of times and this house was the best. The location, the facilities, the owner, everything was fantastic. It made our childrens holiday, we will be back.
We visited the villa in July 2014 and had a fantastic week. The property was immaculately clean and well appointed with plenty of space for the crowd! We actually had friends down from the North East and the two families could relax without tripping over each other at any time. Given all the activities right on the door step, we didn’t think that the games or cinema rooms would get used - wrong! It was so easy to drop a DVD into the player and have the kids mesmerised for an hour or so. If they weren’t there then they were playing pool or air-hockey! If we weren’t doing that then we were in the pool - again loads of space outside for everyone to relax and to dine alfresco (not to mention the grill which not all properties provide!).
The location was fantastic as well, with a Publix just up the road along with a range of fast food options and restaurants - the owner in fact was able to recommend a restaurant a short drive away (Bahama Breeze) which was a great venue for our sons 12th birthday.
Of course access to the parks is key in this part of the world and none are too far away (we can guarantee that having tried Legoland, Universal, Sea World and Busch Gardens!) - in fact we even managed to get a baseball game in with a visit down to St Pete’s for a Rays home game! It really is that central!
We have stayed in many different types of accommodation in different countries over the years and we can assure you that this property is second to none! Whether it be dealing with the owner (who was incredibly helpful and friendly!) or enjoying the amenities - this villa will not disappoint, and we are already planning our trip next year...
We were very nervous about picking the perfect home for us and our extended family. We had never done this type of adventure. The minute we opened the door this home took our breath away. It was perfect! The kids ran from room to room extremely excited about how it was decorated and the adults marveled in the beauty of each room. The young adults were enthralled with the game room and we all loved the pool area, it is beautiful. At night the lights changed in the pool and we all awed with delight! We could not of asked for a better place to stay or a more perfect vacation. The house is very spacious so you never feel like you can't get away. The kitchen is perfectly furnished, we made breakfast every morning and lunch and dinner the nights we weren't at the park. It is located in a safe community where we took walks and admired the scenery. It was just close enough to every attraction, but not too close that you couldn't enjoy the relaxation you should feel while on vacation. We had all ages on this trip and everyone was very satisfied with this home. It is very clean and beautifully kept. We felt privileged to get to vacation in this home!
