Yes, this is paradise! Located on 100' of beautiful East Grand Traverse Bay in Elk Rapids this lovely 3 bedroom, 2 bath home will have you relaxing as soon as you walk in the door. 2 level home located on a side street. Faces west for beautiful sunsets. This super cute cottage style home sleeps up to 8.

1 King in upstairs bedroom, 2 sets of bunks (4 Twins) in upstairs bedroom, and 1 Queen in main level bedroom. Home has 1 TV in living room, DVD, Radio and CD player. Cable & Internet being added in spring 2013. Washer and dryer. Fully stocked kitchen with dishwasher. Ceiling and table fans plus the nice breeze that comes off the lake.

Enjoy the screened in porch and have your coffee in the morning. Then, jump in to the 2 provided kayaks as well as paddle boards. If you don't want to work too hard, float around in provided inner tubes. Some outdoor games provided too. Shore is shallow with some rock. Gas grill. Fire pit. Shower under the stars in the private outdoor shower.

The charming village of Elk Rapids is walking distance from this location. Elk Lake and East Bay marinas are right around the corner. The village of Elk Rapids is a charming town dotted with quaint dining, antique shops and art galleries and a terrific indoor theatre. Don't miss the public library for a quiet afternoon read. Have a picnic, buy fun souvenirs and pick up some tasty treats in this great town. Located about 30 minutes from Traverse City or Charlevoix.

No smoking. No air conditioning. All linens included. Sorry, no pets. Sunday-Sunday for prime summer weeks. Short stays available in off-peak seasons--just ask!

The beautiful, sandy shores of Elk Rapids attracts boaters, day trippers and sunbathers to this wonderful part of northern Michigan. Grace Memorial Harbor is one of the best around with 220 slips. There are also launches on Birch, Bass and Elk Lake. The village of Elk Rapids offers quaint shops and unique restaurants that will keep you busy all day. On a rainy day, take a step back in time by enjoying a movie at the one-screen movie theater downtown - Elk Rapids Cinema. The area also offers great golf courses and swimming beaches. Check out Harbor Days or family fun during “Evening on River Street” and much more. This little town is a well kept secret… but not for long!

We had a lovely weekend at your house. It was rainy but that didn't change the beauty that surrounded us. The view out of the family room windows was stunning. The house was a little smaller than the photos indicated, but it was nicely arranged so we didn't feel cramped. It was clean and well appointed. We couldn't have asked for more. Thanks!
