If you have never visited Bear Lake, you will now at this super charming cottage on 100' of Bear Lake. Located 10 minutes from Lake Michigan, this inland lake offers perfect summer swimming for the entire family. The "Great Escape on Bear Lake" is a two level home with 1800 sf of living space and welcomes up to 12 guests. There is 1 King, 2 Queen, 4 Twins and a Sofabed. Linens are included.

Kitchen is fully stocked and features an electric stove, dishwasher, garbage disposal. There is also a washer and dryer. Open year round in 2013, this home has Central Air for hot summer days and a wood burning fireplace for fall and winter cool-weather nights. Want the windows open? There are plenty of fans to keep you cool too. Sunroom faces the lake and is a perfect spot to enjoy your morning coffee. 3 TVs/DVD, Cable, WIFI, I-Pod docking station and radio.

Outside is where all the fun takes place! Enjoy the provided dock, swim platform, kayaks and paddleboat. The boat launch is only 1 mile from the house if you are bringing your own boat. Gas grill. This area is located west of Benzie County and south of Leelanau County. 30-40 minutes to Sleeping Bear Dunes. Miles of pristine Lake Michigan shoreline. Bear Lake is a quiet community on the 1,800 acre lake where fishing, swimming, sailing, and boating are enjoyed.

Antique shops, 18 hole golf course, and a western theme park and riding stable are nearby. Cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ice fishing and hunting bring visitors to the area during the winter months.
