This home, situated in the historic district, was featured in Cape Cod Home Magazine. Built in 1834, it was sympathetically enlarged and restored by the well-known architect Lyman Perry. The home is exceptionally well equipped and beautifully furnished. The first floor has a sun-filled living room, dining room, library, fully equipped kitchen and half bath. Two staircases lead to the second floor, which consists of a master bedroom suite, one double bedroom, two single bedrooms and two additional bathrooms. It is a few minutes drive to south shore beaches and a short walk to Main Street. Off-street parking is provided. The garden is beautifully planted with climbing roses, specimen hydrangeas, and perennials. A brick patio provides outdoor dining.
5 Prospect Street was purchased by our family in 1994 as our main residence and remains so today. We were drawn to Nantucket by its overwhelming beauty. Being our primary residence, 5 Prospect Street is filled with our families treasures. We hope that our guests enjoy and appreciate this during their stay.

5 Prospect Street appealed to us because of it's antique charm. We were looking for an old house that had all of the modern conveniences but still kept it's historical features. We also chose the home because of it's wonderful gardens and proximity to town.
Many of our guests love our location because they are able to leave their car at home and walk to many of Nantucket's wonderful features. A leisurely 10 minute stroll will bring guests to Nantucket's town center. Here they will find many beautiful restaurants and wonderful shops. Nantucket's incredible boat basin is also located in the heart of town.
